Republicans in Congress need to listen to Pennsylvania and join with Democrats to put the BRAKES on Elon Musk’s cuts in services to the public, mass firings, and funding freezes! Pennsylvanians in a Trump+15 district just spoke loudly last night!
This was the Democrat's closing message in a special election upset in PA tonight: "On Tuesday, you’ll get to make the choice between more Musk, or Lancaster values." lancasteronline.com/news/politic...
Social Security is not a game to be played with. The actions of the Musk-Trump administration on this EARNED benefit are crazy, stupid, and, unlike what Trump’s Commerce Secretary believes, WILL affect hard-working Americans.
Equal pay for equal work- it's just that simple. But unfortunately, this fight is far from over. Today, for every dollar men make, women only make 75 cents. As a proud cosponsor of the #PaycheckFairnessAct, I'm working to close the gap once and for all.
Graphic. Equal pay for equal work.
A special counsel should be appointed – now. The national security adviser & defense secretary should resign – now. The American people cannot trust the Trump-Vance administration to investigate itself, especially when VP Vance himself was apparently involved.
It was revealed this week that the messaging app Signal was used by top members of Trump’s Cabinet to plan a recent U.S. government military operation. How secure is the app really? Experts weigh in👇
Hey #Philly: If the Musk-Trump administration’s mass firings or Social Security service disruptions impact you or someone you know- I want to hear from you! Go to evans.house.gov/story to share your story today.
Trump’s commerce secretary Howard Lutnick says if Social Security skipped a check, his mother-in-law wouldn’t complain—and if you would, it indicates you are probably a fraudster. Insane.
Congressmen Evans & Boyle recently joined with their Ways & Means Committee colleagues in calling for that: bsky.app/profile/repd...
@waysmeanscmte.bsky.social Democrats are calling on co-President/ billionaire donor Elon Musk to appear before our committee and answer questions on the actions of DOGE. House Republicans talk about rooting out waste, fraud & abuse, so I think they should be all for this transparency!
Democrats have built on the success of the ACA- capping the cost of insulin in Medicare, lowering premiums, & securing Medicare drug price negotiations. On the other hand, while Trump & Congressional GOP continue attacking this progress, they STILL only have *concepts of a plan* for a replacement.
After 8 years, the president-elect still only has *concepts of a plan* for better health care! As someone with a pre-existing condition, I want to KEEP the Affordable Care Act’s protections, & new gains like Biden’s $35 monthly cost cap for insulin in Medicare that I voted for.
Under the Affordable Care Act, Democrats transformed health care— expanding access to affordable health care coverage and protecting Americans with pre-existing conditions. 15 years later and it's still a really big deal. #ThanksObama
As a product of Philly's public schools & former educator- I know Trump gutting the Department of Education could be devastating for students across our country. This action is an illegal power grab & was never about protecting our children- it's about lining the pockets of GOP billionaire donors.
So, it’s 'let them eat cake?' from Trump’s Commerce Secretary 👀 If your Social Security payment doesn't arrive, ABSOLUTELY you should call Social Security. And then call my office at 215-276-0340- we're here to help!
