I'm encouraged there are already 3 GOP co-sponsors on this bill.
As a federal judge just ordered probationary federal workers to be immediately reinstated, I urge more of my Republican colleagues to join this critical legislation.
I joined @elfreth.house.gov's Protect Our Probationary Employees Act to ensure these workers wouldn't have to restart the clock on their probationary period when they are reinstated.
I've heard from probationary federal employees, like Keisha, across Philly who were unjustly fired under Musk's DOGE and kept from serving the public.

Trump’s economic troubles put Republicans on the defensive.

House Democrats are ready & willing to vote!
Dear Senate Democrats: The Trump administration confirms the House GOP bill is a free pass to keep gutting public services. Stand firm for the people & demand House Republicans COME BACK to DC to vote on a 30-day funding bill that can actually PASS the Senate.
I have called for years for firing DeJoy! Letting “DOGE” wreck your Postal Service is UNACCEPTABLE. The fight against this will probably take place in courts as well as in Congress. But know that I am 100% AGAINST this!
2018: President Trump, Republican House, Republican Senate, 35-day shutdown.
2025: President Trump, Republican House, Republican Senate, partial shutdowns ALREADY happening.
Leader Jeffries said it best in 2023- shutdowns are in Republicans’ DNA.

Instead of lowering the cost of living, House Republicans’ final funding bill could lead to the eviction of more than 32,000 families.
House Democrats stand united for a four-week funding extension that stops harmful cuts, keeps government open to serve the people, and allows Congress to reach a bipartisan funding agreement.
I’m ready to vote tomorrow or Friday to pass a four-week extension.
@waysmeanscmte.bsky.social introduced 2 resolutions to compel Musk & his cronies to provide transparency about their actions accessing sensitive Social Security data.
Every Republican voted against these measures today, protecting the Trump/Musk Administration- NOT the American people.

The taste of victory certainly is delicious!
Thank you to @davids.house.gov & @cleaver.house.gov for holding up your end of our Super Bowl bet. I know @congressmanboyle.bsky.social and I are looking forward to another victorious season! FlyEaglesFly
Trump: Promises to lower prices on *day one.*
Also Trump: Hosts a Tesla commercial in front of the White House with his co-president and biggest donor, while telling hard-working Americans to "shut up about egg prices."
