To be the best possible advocate I can be for you in Congress, I need to hear from you directly. This Friday, I’m hosting a Community Conversation in Keene — I hope you’ll join us! 📅 Friday, February 28, 2025, at 4:00 PM 📍Keene State College (RSVP for full room details.) 📨RSVP: bit.ly/4bh1f7k
In Congress, I’m fighting every day to lower healthcare costs and expand access. That’s why last night I voted to block the House Republican budget resolution that would lock in massive tax giveaways for billionaires and big corporations paid for by massive cuts to Medicaid.
Last week, I had important conversations with our partners at the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services in Concord and Dartmouth Health in Lebanon about the federal programs that help people across New Hampshire access quality healthcare.
I voted NO on the House GOP budget resolution that would: ❌Raise our deficit ❌ Lock in trillions in tax giveaways to billionaires & big corporations ❌ Pave the way for trillions in handouts to the ultra-rich paid for by ❗️Largest cuts to Medicaid in history ❗️Cuts to programs Granite Staters rely on
Incredible to meet with Rick Borrazas and Bob Guldner of Disabled American Veterans New Hampshire to talk about how Congress can support their important work on behalf of our veterans, including through the federal programs that make their mission possible.
Three years since Russia waged its unjust war against the people of Ukraine, the fight for freedom and democracy continues. I believe deeply in the cause of freedom in Ukraine and will always stand up to Vladimir Putin’s aggression.
I have long said we need to pursue reform in the Pentagon, including a comprehensive, apolitical audit. But firing competent, experienced leaders who have dedicated their lives to serving in our military will not make our Armed Forces stronger or more efficient.
I proudly served as an intelligence officer in the Navy Reserve for over a decade. In that time, I saw firsthand that strong apolitical leadership in the top ranks of the military is vital to our national security. President Trump’s move to purge senior officers is deeply concerning and dangerous.
In an unprecedented purge of the military’s senior leadership, President Donald Trump fired the top US general just moments before his defense secretary fired the chief of the US Navy and the vice chief of the Air Force.
The Trump Administration is issuing new executive actions and orders every day that are hurting hardworking Granite Staters. Our team wants to hear from you. If you have been impacted by — or are concerned you may be impacted by — a change in a federal policy or program, please share your story:
Every student deserves an equal opportunity to pursue the American Dream. I loved hearing from students at TRIO Day in Nashua about their lives & dreams. Federal programs help make the dreams our kids are dreaming a reality & I will always stand up against reckless cuts anyone tries to make to them.
Harbor Care is a lifeline to thousands of people across New Hampshire. From housing our veterans to primary and preventive health care to HIV/AIDS care, the extraordinary providers and advocates at Harbor Care are making all the difference for Granite Staters.
