"[x productivity tool] paid for itself by cancelling unwanted subscriptions" is always so insane to me. how many of you are actually sitting there spaffing out money without even knowing it?
Yeah, which also infringed adult rights, but “you can’t use social media unless you jump through these hoops” is a bigger infringement than “you can’t look at porn”
Yeah. Can’t do full anonymity and age gating. Lots of fairly good tradeoffs imo but they are real trade offs.
Buses invented in 2007 of course
Latter much easier than former imo. Former inherently infringes on adult rights too, latter doesn’t
in other news, crossrail's doing well huh
if there is space in the middle of the carriage which is otherwise full to the gills and i have to brusquely push past you to get to it it is not _me_ who is the rude one
PLEASE do not dare reality to get More
Immediately folding this take into my personal canon
Bleakly funny that they’re continuing the whataboutery even when it makes no sense

The number of one-off structural changes that disadvantage young people vs their parents at the same age is pretty staggering

I probably should have posted it with a warning
The latter.
bsky.app/profile/hern... flagging a more detailed response here. “Hallucinatory answer” is simply untrue Sunder
Lots of big accounts have been asserting this hallucination line, yes
Meme going around here that the Grok policy change (around only generating images when @ed by a paid user) was a “hallucination”. It wasn’t, it’s a real policy change; the misreporting is that this does NOT limit free users from generating images using other interfaces for Grok, such as its app.
The policy change is “if you @ grok on Twitter, it won’t generate images for you unless you’re paying”. This was wrongly reported as “grok is only generating for paying users”, when there are other avenues to use grok to generate than simply @-ing it on Twitter.
