Republicans are voting tonight at 10PM—in the dead of night—on their Big Bad Billionaire Bill: $1.1 trillion in tax cuts for the rich paid for by Medicaid cuts and hungry children. They hope you won’t notice. But we will call out Republican’s betrayal of America’s families.
“Un poquito para mí, un poquito para vos y un poquito para las criaturas de Dios.” Ralph Vigil’s words inspired my work and perspective.  He led us on hikes into the Pecos which  inspired our legislation to protect the watershed from mining.

HAPPENING NOW: @momsrising.org & @mamasconpoder.org are hosting a virtual Moms Town Hall with DWC Chair @fernandez.house.gov, @sarajacobs.house.gov, & @pressley.house.gov! They’re answering your questions about the chaos Trump and Republicans are causing. Tune in: mobilize.us/momsrising/e...
Trump has attacked women, mothers, and families since day one. DWC Chair @fernandez.house.gov and DWC Member @pressley.house.gov are joining MomsRising and Mamás Con Poder to answer your questions and share how we’re fighting for women. RSVP ⬇️ www.mobilize.us/momsrising/e...
🚨 Republicans are pushing through Medicaid cuts RIGHT NOW hoping no one is watching. We're watching. The 8.6 MILLION people that will be without insurance are watching. I spoke to Julie, a Medicaid recipient who came to the Hill to fight these cuts outside the committee room.
Today, Republicans are rushing to jam through a budget that cuts Medicaid and food assistance by $1 trillion. 8.7 million people will be kicked off Medicaid. Millions will go hungry. All so Republicans can give tax cuts to billionaires. Shameful.
My mom was my first teacher. She taught me the power of love, service, and standing up for what’s right. Today, we honor all moms who nurture and lead. As Chair of the @demwomencaucus.bsky.social, I thank you. You are a blessing. Happy #MothersDay!
