Republicans argue that rolling back clean air protections is good for business.
But more pollution means sicker workers, higher costs, and unsafe communities.
@energycommerce.bsky.social Dems called them out today.

Thanks to the CHCI for stopping by!
Grateful for programs like these that uplift our Latino students and drive meaningful change in our communities.
My @hispaniccaucus.bsky.social colleagues & I will keep working to ensure all DACA-eligible members of our communities are protected because if we lose them & their talent, our entire economy will suffer.
Far too many Dreamers live with the constant fear of deportation due to the Trump Admin’s reckless & cruel immigration policies.
Looking forward to the Congressional Baseball Game tonight—but it’ll be bittersweet for New Jerseyans.
First one without our dear friend and coach, Bill Pascrell. We'll miss you out there.
We won’t let them get away with it - and neither should you.
Republicans are trying to quietly gut ACA coverage, kicking millions more off health care to pay for tax breaks for the richest amongst us.
While they're not calling it a repeal (publicly, at least), the result is the same: less coverage, more people pushed to the brink.
The Trump Admin and House Republicans want to pretend renewable energy isn’t a thing.
But it is and it’s lowering prices for Americans across the country.

We are a nation of believers and big dreamers. People who hustle every day to make those dreams a reality. And if we believe in each other again, there is nothing that we can’t do - together.

Had a wonderful time with friends and neighbors celebrating Portugal Day in Newark AND Portugal’s UEFA win!! 🇵🇹⚽️
Great to connect with my guy, @thekidmero.bsky.social! And I got to be the first @victorylightpod.bsky.social episode in Jersey!
Look forward to sharing more from our conversation soon!
Great day in Hoboken and Bayonne!
Joined the Puerto Rican Culture Committee in Hoboken to raise the Puerto Rican Flag! 🇵🇷 And rain couldn’t stop us from going to the Southwest Fest to see so many friends!
Final stop at the Hometown Fair in Bayonne with our team!
Since Delaney Hall we have been saying we all need to be speaking out against the overreach of the Trump Administration. That in a democracy, the people are the red line.
And from NJ to LA the people have made it clear - enough is enough.
Republicans only stand for states' rights when it's convenient for them and trample all over those rights when it benefits Big Oil.
Hypocritical? Shameful? Eh just business as usual for House Republicans.
2. Who’s fighting for YOU? House Democrats. That’s been the case since day one of this Administration and it will continue to be the case.
3. What’s next? In the midst of this self-induced Republican-fueled chaos, let’s work together and fight for a future that delivers for ALL Americans. 🤝
While Trump and Musk are publicly breaking up, here are three thoughts:
1. Musk just realized the GOP bill cuts EV tax credits, which will hurt Tesla’s stock price. The fix? Rail against Trump to win back customers here and abroad.
@replamonica.bsky.social and I aren’t just friends and colleagues who both represent Jersey City and Newark in Congress, we have also shared an AirPod on national television. 😂
Team work makes the dream work!
We have been saying for weeks that no one is safe in Trump’s America.
Every day we are shown that’s the case.
This #WorldEnvironmentDay, Republicans sided with corporate polluters.
Meanwhile, Democrats are fighting for cleaner air, energy, and a green future that works for everyone.
Apparently, when people actually read the bill, they hate it. @housedemocrats.bsky.social have opposed this disastrous every step of the way - because we put the people first.
