It is an honor to serve on @ushousefsc.bsky.social under the leadership of Congresswoman Maxine Waters.
Racial and economic justice go hand in hand, and there is no better venue to do this work.
#BHM Spotlight: @pressley.house.gov, who serves on the Subcmte on H&I, and the Subcmte on Digital Assets. Last Congress, Rep. Pressley reintroduced the "Greater Supervision in Banking Act," legislation to strengthen Congressional oversight of the country’s largest banks, protect consumers, and more.
Doris was dealing with health issues & needed her fiancé’s support, as well as his safety from humanitarian challenges in Nigeria.
After contacting our office, we helped expedite her fiancé’s visa & they were reunited last month.
#MA7, we're here to help: Pressley.House.Gov or 617-850-0040.
The CFPB is an essential agency.
That's why we're pushing back against Musk and Trump's unlawful attacks on the agency and its workers.
This is about economic justice and protecting folks' pocketbooks, savings, & financial stability.

To our women & girls:
You are powerful.
You are limitless.
Your contributions are brilliant & needed.
Your ideas are substantive.
Your lived experiences belong at decision-making tables.
You deserve a life free from fear, filled with dignity & love.
Happy #WomensHistoryMonth!
Ramadan Mubarak to all observing in the #MA7 & around the globe.
Wishing our Muslim neighbors a rewarding month of joy, peace, & community.
Since Trump took office, our federal workers have been intimidated & fired for no reason.
That’s why I’m leading 85 lawmakers in urging the Office of Special Counsel to immediately reinstate more than 10,000 fired probation workers.
We must put an end to the cruel attacks on our civil service.
An absolutely disgraceful and embarrassing performance from Donald Trump.
Ukraine is our ally and the U.S. should not be doing Russia's bidding on the world stage.

DOGE isn't here to serve anyone other than Elon Musk and Donald Trump.
And it was never about "efficiency."
Just like the doge meme, the lives of hard-working families are a joke to them.

@degette.house.gov and I convened the @reprocaucus.bsky.social and @ppfa.org to discuss how we're pushing back against Republicans 'attacks on reproductive freedom.
We're using every tool at our disposal to defend abortion access and keep our patients and providers safe.
Last night, House Republicans passed a budget plan that will make people across the country sicker, hungrier, poorer, & less safe. I voted NO.
Here are four ways this disastrous bill will impact families in the #MA7:
Republicans' budget plan is a shame & a sham.
How is it efficient to make people sicker, hungrier, poorer & more vulnerable?
How is it efficient to buy more toy rockets for Trump’s billionaire friends while parents can’t afford groceries?
I'm voting NO.

☎️ MA7th neighbors: Join us tonight for a telephone town hall to discuss the harmful Republican budget resolution on the House floor today and how we're pressing back against the cruel Musk-Trump agenda.
Join us at 7:00pm ET by dialing in at (855) 531-1062.
Republicans have never been interested in helping folks make ends meet.
They just want to enrich their billionaire donors by slashing life-saving programs like Medicaid, which 31% of Massachusetts residents depend on for healthcare.
The cruelty is the point.
This is a victory for our dedicated federal workers unlawfully fired by the Musk-Trump administration.
We'll continue to match their energy & use every tool available to fight for your livelihood and dignity.
Our workers deserve nothing less.
In response to our complaint filed along w/ Alden Law Group, the OSC recommends halting termination of probationary federal employees. The decision is now w/ MSPB who has the authority & precedent to approve the pause of terminations. In the absence of a decision, the pause will take effect on 2/27.
For Musk, Trump, & Republicans, it's never been about efficiency.
Because there's nothing "efficient" about gutting government services that families depend on.
It's always been about harming vulnerable people to pay for massive tax breaks for their billionaire friends.

I rallied with #MA7 federal workers to tell Elon & Trump:
Hands off our bodies.
Hands off our data.
Hands off our democracy.
Hands off our Constitution.
Hands off our federal jobs.
Trump’s attacks on DEI are anti-Blackness on steroids.
And we’re not backing down in our pursuit of reparatory justice.
My #HR40Reparations bill establishes a federal commission to develop reparations proposals for Black people harmed by slavery.

YouthBuild Boston is the perfect example of how lives can be changed when we empower & support our young folks’ access to vocational industries.
They're able to foster teamwork, build community & successfully enter the workforce upon graduation.
Trump's shameful decision to end TPS for Haiti could be a death sentence for more than 500,000 Haitian nationals living in the US.

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
