The GOP Budget includes a massive land grab in NV to pay for tax breaks for the rich. I just filed an amendment to strip this provision because we need to work together on a plan for responsible growth and keep $ from land sales in our state to support education and conservation.
On this International Day Against Homophobia and Transphobia, we recognize the need to keep fighting for LGBT+ rights around the world.
Trump continues to attack the press, this time by firing hundreds of employees at Voice of America. VOA is critical to supporting free press operations abroad, ensuring access to information around the globe.

POTUS's ‘big beautiful’ bill.
Looks like now Speaker Johnson and House Republicans will be getting ‘the call.’

This week and every week, we are grateful for our law enforcement who put their lives on the line to protect folks #OnlyInDistrictOne.
#NationalPoliceWeek
#AAPI Heritage Month reminds us that embracing all cultures and people in our community makes us better folks #OnlyinDistrictOne. Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders make immense contributions to Southern Nevada.
Trump is attacking American culture and history. Read more in my opinion piece: thehill.com/opinion/5300...

House Republicans don't seem to care if families go hungry.
Last night in the Agriculture Committee, they voted to cut nutrition programs and SNAP benefits, which will affect one in every ten households in Nevada.
When given the chance to vote on the budget, I'll be a loud NO!
Puff, puff, pass the bill! Thank you for honoring me with the Legislative Lifetime Achievement Award, National Cannabis Industry Association. I will continue advocating for commonsense cannabis reform, including my own STATES 2.0 Act.
In addition to funding cuts for Medicaid, House Republicans are putting up barriers against healthcare, including employment and reporting requirements. These “red tape” provisions will only make Southern Nevadans sicker.
I toured Sunshine Minting in Henderson to see firsthand its state-of-the art technology for coin engraving. Sunshine Minting started out as a small company and now is one of the largest engravers in the nation. It is a high-tech leader right here #OnlyInDistrictOne.
Tonight House Republicans will determine if they want family and children to go hungry. Over 30,000 people #OnlyinDistrictOne could lose some of their SNAP benefits if Republicans pass their misguided plan.
Trump is carrying out a full-frontal assault on our shared culture.
Republicans are trying to pass a budget that dramatically cuts Medicaid and food assistance by $1 trillion, hurting thousands of Nevadans. The budget will cause some to lose healthcare coverage and raise costs for others.
Republicans lied. They do plan to make cuts to Medicaid which will inflict huge coverage losses; raise costs for working families; and leave kids, parents, seniors, and people with disabilities without the care they need.
Happy Mother’s Day to Mama Titus and all the moms #OnlyinDistrictOne!
Today we honor our friends across the Atlantic for #EuropeDay. As a senior member of the House Foreign Affairs Subcommittee on Europe, I will continue advocating for foreign policy that supports our European allies and protects American interests abroad.
#TeamTitus attended the grand opening of Firehouse 92, which stands on land I helped secure for Henderson. Firehouse 92 will serve the area with 24/7 response and up to 14 fire personnel. As Henderson grows, it is critical that we provide the city with the services it needs to mitigate any dangers.
Along with @repcohen.bsky.social, Congressman Schweikert, and Congressman Ciscomani, I announced the Congressional Wild Horse Caucus to encourage federal policies for better treatment of wild horses and burros.
Today I spoke at the Moms Rising event about my efforts to support families, women, and children. From sponsoring legislation that funds family planning to advocating for the Child Tax Credit, I’ll always push for policies that help our working mothers and families #OnlyinDistrictOne.
