To our Cambodian-American neighbors and friends: Happy Khmer New Year! 🎊 It’s a privilege to represent one of the largest Cambodian communities in the nation. Massachusetts wouldn’t be complete without the economic, political and cultural contributions of Cambodian-Americans.
As our friends and neighbors gather around the Seder table, I’m wishing a Happy Passover to all who are celebrating across Massachusetts! 🕊️May this season of renewal bring peace and joy to you and your loved ones.
Step 1: Trump declares reckless tariffs, promises new factories in America
Step 2: Economy crashes
Step 3: Trump reverses tariffs without new factories
So incredibly stupid.
Just a few months ago, the House passed a bipartisan legislative package that advances children’s cancer research and pediatric diseases treatments.
When Elon Musk killed the package in December, not a single Republican spoke up. They abandoned the kids depending on us to act.
Over a century ago, women fought to secure the right to vote. Today, I’m fighting to ensure that this fundamental freedom is preserved and protected.
Yesterday, House Republicans voted to disenfranchise them by passing the SAVE Act – an extreme bill that places burdensome restrictions on their right to vote.
Nearly 1.5 MILLION women in Massachusetts have a name that does not match their birth certificate – often because they changed their last name when they got married.
It’s as simple as this: If Elon Musk’s staff broke federal law, they must be held accountable.
No one should be above the law when it comes to violating Americans’ privacy.
👎 What DOGE labels as “waste, fraud and abuse”: public education, veterans’ health care and the Social Security Administration
👍 What DOGE considers “vital government spending”: using taxpayer dollars to keep cookies warm for Trump’s Interior Secretary
My dad was a proud Local 7 Ironworker — and his legacy inspires everything I do. It was great to see my friend Frank this week, a fellow Local 7 member, on Capitol Hill. We shared stories about my dad on the job and discussed my ongoing commitment to supporting union workers in #MA3.

On today's Democratic Daily Download, former Marine @carbajal.house.gov discuses today’s hearing that exposed Donald Trump and Elon Musk’s devastating cuts to the VA and how they’re firing veterans in critical jobs across the government.

As your representative, nothing is more important than hearing your concerns, answering your questions, and making sure I’m fighting for your priorities in Washington.
That’s why I’m inviting you to join me this Monday, April 14th at 6:30pm for a town hall in Marlborough!
Republicans in Congress just hit the American people with a one-two punch.
First, they voted to take away families' health care and food assistance. Then they passed a bill to strip 69 million Americans of their right to vote. What a disgrace.
This fight is far from over.
Make no mistake: The Republican budget puts the richest 0.1% of Americans first, and working families dead last.
Their bill cuts Medicaid and food assistance programs to fund massive tax breaks for the billionaires who funded their campaigns.
If you thought Donald Trump’s reckless decision to tank the economy was bad, this is going to make it so much worse.
I’m here to vote NO on this latest attempt to make sure Elon Musk gets his kickbacks from Republicans in power.
This morning, @energycommerce.bsky.social Democrats went to the Department of Health and Human Services to demand information on RFK Jr cutting federal pandemic response teams, birth defect monitors and other lifesaving health programs.
No one would explain why this is happening.
@hakeem-jeffries.bsky.social is on the House floor, ready to debate Speaker Mike Johnson on the merits of Republicans' disastrous budget bill.
But where’s the Speaker? Nowhere to be found—too busy jamming through cuts to Medicaid and handing tax breaks to his billionaire donors like Elon Musk.
Donald Trump didn’t just break his promise to protect Social Security – he’s now actively trying to gut it.
Millions of Americans could lose access to the benefits they earned.
