Nearly 300,000 Coloradans face the real possibility of their monthly health care premiums doubling, tripling, or even quadrupling next year without the ACA tax credits Republicans have refused to extend.
[1/2]
Health care is a right.
And until we have universal coverage in this country, we shouldn’t make it harder for working families to afford coverage & stay healthy by allowing critical ACA tax credits to expire.
These credits are a lifeline for countless Coloradans. We must fight to preserve them.
America’s veterans bravely answered the call to serve our country and sacrificed to defend our freedom.
On Veterans Day, we honor their service and remember our duty to ensure veterans in Colorado and across the country have the healthcare, housing, and support they’ve earned and deserve.
When we passed the Affordable Care Act, we made historic progress in making health care attainable for working people.
After years of Republicans trying to take that health care away, we cannot give up our fight now, as millions are at risk of losing their premium tax credits and their coverage.
I’m glad the Supreme Court affirmed LGBTQ+ equality and refused to hear a case attempting to overturn same-sex couples’ constitutional rights.
Every person, no matter who they are or who they love, deserves the right to marry and share the freedoms granted to every American.
Hunger is not a political weapon, and I will continue pushing to ensure Trump fully funds SNAP and put an end to this cruelty.

President Trump is continuing his political tug-of-war with hungry families’ SNAP benefits and has now resorted to punishing states for trying to ensure their families can feed themselves.

If you have seen your 2026 health care premiums skyrocket, please share your story.
Republicans have refused to extend critical premium tax credits for working families, and now thousands of Coloradans are at risk of losing coverage.
Your story will allow me to shine a light on this crisis.
But local governments have stepped up to support their communities. For more information about resources in your local government, visit: cdhs.colorado.gov/snap or call the SNAP hotline at 1-800-816-4451

More than 600,000 Coloradans are going without their SNAP benefits as Trump continues to play political games with people's lives and appeals the court mandate to fully fund the program saving children and families from going hungry.

Good News: UC Colorado Springs will now have an Air Force ROTC unit to better serve students in southern Colorado traveling 100+ miles for classes.
After urging the US Air Force to establish this unit, I’m glad students who have committed to serving our country will now have greater support.
It has been a privilege to work alongside Chairman Manuel Heart and witness his profound leadership and lifetime of service to the Ute Mountain Ute Tribe.
Working with him has been one of the greatest honors of my life, and I’m deeply grateful for his friendship and wisdom.
That’s why I voted tonight for a bipartisan resolution to block President Trump from pursuing an unauthorized war with Venezuela.
Congress has the sole authority to declare war – not the President alone.

The American people do not want another war.
Yet President Trump continues to threaten land strikes in Venezuela and has deployed a naval armada to the region. This risks a conflict and puts our military servicemembers in harm’s way.

Thank you, Speaker Pelosi, for taking a stand when it mattered most and for inspiring generations of lawmakers to use their voice and power for good.

Nancy Pelosi's decades of dedicated public service and fearless advocacy for working families and for our kids have improved countless Americans' lives and made our country more just.

It is absurd that President Trump requires the mandate of a federal judge to prevent millions of families in America from going hungry.
This is an emergency of Trump's own making. He must end it and fully fund SNAP now.
A federal judge in Rhode Island has said the Trump administration must fully cover food stamp benefits for tens of millions of Americans in November. https://cnn.it/47KumOX
Congratulations to Superintendent Chris Gdowski from Adams 12 Five Star Schools on being named Colorado Superintendent of the Year!
Your leadership and dedication to educators, students, their families, and the community are inspiring.
It is unacceptable that Coloradans are now forced to make these decisions when their health is on the line.
ACA premium tax credits are a lifeline for countless families, and we must restore them.
