My statement on Prime Minister Netanyahu’s plan to occupy Gaza:
I am closely monitoring the Lee and Elk wildfires in Rio Blanco County. My thoughts are with the Town of Meeker, the evacuees, and the people who have lost their homes.
Thank you to our brave firefighters and first responders working on the ground to protect Northwest Colorado.
At my town hall, it was clear that Coloradans face extraordinary challenges, from housing costs to educational outcomes and health care access.
I believe our state can become a leader for the country in solving these issues and chart a better future for the next generation.
President Trump’s decision to impose 100% tariffs on computer chips puts our national and economic security at risk.
When we faced a chip shortage during the pandemic, prices rose, and everything from home appliances to farm equipment became scarce. Trump is doing the same thing.
Colorado made sure families shouldn't have to worry about their kids losing health care in their earliest years.
That’s why I led a letter urging the Trump Administration to ensure our state continues providing continuous lifesaving health care for kids.
Today is the 60th anniversary of the Voting Rights Act.
As our voting rights continue to come under attack, we must keep fighting to ensure every American can freely exercise their right to vote. Our future depends on it.
Affordable housing and childcare are out of reach for too many rural Colorado families.
I was glad to meet with local leaders in Ouray who are stepping up to meet this challenge and working to address the childcare and housing shortages across their community.
Thank you to all who attended yesterday's Durango Town Hall to use your voices and discuss the challenges facing our state, from health care access for our children to the future of our democracy.
I will keep fighting for Colorado and look forward to our next conversation.
Starting SOON: Watch my Durango Town Hall LIVE on my Facebook page.⬇️
I’m looking forward to hearing directly from Coloradans about the issues that matter most to them.

While in Montrose yesterday, I had the opportunity to meet with Mayor Dave Frank and talk with him about affordable housing and fighting for rural communities.
Thank you, Montrose, for the warm welcome. I look forward to coming back.
Coloradans tell me that no matter how hard they work, they can’t get ahead, and their kids can’t get ahead.
It was great to hear directly from young Coloradans about how we can make Montrose County and the rest of our state affordable for them and their families.
Protecting access to the Gunnison River and preserving public lands in the North Fork Valley are essential in the bipartisan GORP Act.
I was glad to spend time on the river with local leaders to discuss the full impacts of the bill and celebrate the years of collaboration at the heart of this work.
I’m glad to announce $25 million for projects across Colorado was included in funding passed by the Senate.
From a food pantry in Wellington to a police station in Fairplay and ambulatory care at Fort Carson, these investments will help Coloradans meet the changing needs of their communities.
TOMORROW: August 5th, at 3 PM, I'm hosting a town hall in Durango!
The event is currently at capacity, but I'm encouraging everyone to tune into the town hall livestream on my Facebook page ⬇️
As the South Rim wildfire continues to burn, I am prepared to support the park's recovery and the wildland firefighters working to keep nearby communities safe. (2/2)
I was glad to learn that the Black Canyon of the Gunnison National Park partially reopened this week. Visitors can now access trails, overlooks, and camping facilities in the North Rim of the park. (1/2)

The Corporation for Public Broadcasting shuttering means rural communities in Colorado and across the country will lose their lifeline to trusted, accurate news and emergency alerts.
We may not know the devastating effects of Republicans' cuts to public broadcasting until it's too late.
Putin's ruthless attacks on innocent Ukrainians show that anything less than steadfast U.S. support for Ukraine will only embolden his brutality – and prolong this war.
The U.S. must keep supporting the Ukrainian people's fight for the sake of Ukraine and democracy everywhere.
Next Tuesday, August 5th, at 3 PM, I'm hosting an in-person town hall in Durango!
I'm looking forward to hearing directly from Coloradans about the issues that matter the most to them.

Happy Colorado Day!
Today, we celebrate the 149th birthday of our beautiful state and everything that makes Colorado the greatest in the union.
Whether it's with a hike, a beer, or time with your family, I hope you find your own way to celebrate.
