🧵Today, I’m introducing my bicameral bill to kickstart Medicare for all who want it and ensure every American has access to affordable health coverage.

Congress must pass the GORP Act to make sure our kids and grandkids get to experience this incredible landscape as we do now.

For the first time – after more than a decade of grassroots work with seven bipartisan counties, Tribes, and a wide range of public lands users – the Senate's Energy and Natural Resources Committee is taking up our GORP Act.

The Gunnison Basin's public lands are home to a legacy of ranching, critical wildlife habitat, and some of the best outdoor recreation Colorado has to offer.

We cannot stand for it. DHS and ICE must be overhauled. I'll keep fighting to make sure our immigration enforcement reflects our values and respects the dignity of every person.

Trump: ICE should continue traffic stops after recent shootings, seeming to contradict new policy

At least ten people have died at the hands of ICE during enforcement actions since the start of President Trump's second term. Instead of changing course to save lives, the administration doubled down on their cruel, inhumane policies.

The halt in traffic stops came after ICE officers fatally shot motorists in Maine and Texas just days apart.

This new facility will not only nearly double the number of detention beds, but is in a rural location, far from the organizations that offer resources and oversight. I will continue to push for necessary guardrails, critical reforms, and work towards preventing the opening of this facility.
