People are on the verge of losing their health insurance because Trump & Republicans have failed to extend the premium tax credits. We must pass the Heath Care Affordability Act to make these tax credits permanent so people can access the diagnoses, medicine & treatment they need.
President Trump betrays the trust of his office & Americans who hope for greater unity & less political violence when he says we must “beat the hell out of them,” referring to the supposed “Radical Left.” Inflaming hostility & encouraging violence are repugnant at this moment.
I was honored to meet with Ukrainian government officials working to support their rapidly growing veteran population. Ukrainians deserve our continued support in their fight for freedom—starting with increased military aid & the Graham-Blumenthal Sanctions bill.
The horrors & heroism of September 11th will never be forgotten. Today we honor the lives lost, their loved ones, & all who bravely rushed to help. We must recommit to fight for justice for victims & health care for first responders harmed by this tragedy.
Animal abuse is abhorrent—&, tragically, expanding. My Better CARE for Animals Act would help punish & deter it with tougher penalties & accountability with real punch. Animals need advocates— they can’t do it.
Shutting down Revolution Wind is insane, illogical & illegal. Thousands of workers are without jobs, businesses may close & energy prices will climb higher because of this foolish decision. I applaud AG Tong for his swift action against the Trump Admin.
Paranoid delusions seem to be seizing Sec. Burgum. His fumbling fact free rationale for illegally shutting down Revolution Wind is ludicrous. It means higher electricity prices for consumers & massive job cuts. Not to mention undermining energy independence. It’s crazy & lawless.
Kennedy is unfit—period. He’s the one who should be fired. His dangerous illegalities require Congressional intervention. Bipartisan investigation is a first step—aiming for full accountability.
It’s crazy to stop the 80% complete Revolution Wind project. Shutting it down will drive energy prices up, threaten our energy independence, & cut well-paying jobs. I call on the admin to reverse this lawless & reckless cancelation.
This arbitrary decision defies all logic & reason—Revolution Wind’s project was already well underway & employed hundreds of skilled tradesmen & women. This is a major set back for a critical project in CT, & I will fight it.
Teachers are so totally dedicated to their students that they often buy school supplies with their own money. My RAISE Act will put money back in their pockets with a refundable tax credit.
The Trump admin should retract these attempts to silence political speech & force religious institutions into becoming de facto enforcers of DHS/ICE’s discriminatory immigration enforcement programs. Our communities will be less safe without these grants.
Sec. Noem’s “new terms & conditions” would bar these community groups from receiving grants to help prevent bombings, gun violence, & more if they help immigrants or support programs that fight against discrimination.
