The truth is that ICE is an out-of-control federal agency kidnapping people off the streets and causing terror in our communities. Please be aware, use your camera, and report ICE activity to the PIRC Hotline: (888) 622-1510
This injustice underscores ICE's pattern of Trump-sanctioned cruelty and the purposeful incitement of fear in Oregon and across the country. I share the community's concerns and am closely following this case.
I stood outside the FEMA office in DC to send a message that the Trump administration is withholding millions of grant funding dollars that Columbia Memorial Hospital in Astoria earned to prepare for an earthquake and tsunami. This is about saving lives.
Marshmallows and art: NOT an insurrection. January 6th: Insurrection 🙂‍↔️ Let's join together and drown out the voices of hate toward Portland. What is your favorite thing to do in the Rose City? #troopsoutofpdx
For three weeks the Trump administration has sent helicopters to circle over Portland for hours at a time. Many Portland residents have told me that the helicopters have rattled buildings, interrupted their sleep, and disrupted their workdays.
The Trump Administration is ramping up their inhumane mass deportation program that is targeting and treating people in cruel and unacceptable ways. My office is hearing alarming reports of increased ICE operations in Hillsboro, Beaverton, and across NW Oregon.
