President Biden’s extension of TPS for El Salvador, Ukraine, Venezuela, and Sudan will protect immigrants from those countries facing persecution and violence. I am grateful to the President for continuing our country’s long legacy of helping those seeking refuge from harm.
Jimmy Carter’s life was a testament to grace, compassion, & moral courage. A leader who lived his faith through service. Choosing love over division & justice over ease. He showed us that true leadership is grounded in empathy & service. His legacy calls us to lead with love and purpose.
There’s always space to hold for icees. 🍿 🧹

Today marks 14 years since six people were shot and killed and 13 people were injured, including our founder @gabbygiffords.bsky.social, in Tucson, Arizona.
We will forever honor the victims and survivors, carrying their stories forward as we work to build a safer future for all.
From fighting for a fair economy, to safely harnessing the potential of artificial intelligence, to Wicked, there is a lot on our minds as U.S. Senators. Tune in later this week to hear @bennet.senate.gov and I break it all down. #SenatorsOnSenators
Every day I have the privilege to walk through the Capitol, I carry the memory of what happened on January 6th, 2021 with me.
Certifying the presidential election today is a stark reminder of the work that needs to be done to ensure justice and protect the freedoms of all Americans.
I am shocked by the horrific act of terror as people gathered together to celebrate the new year in New Orleans this morning. My heart is with the victims and the incredible community of New Orleans.
As you gather together to celebrate the seven principles I am wishing you a happy Kwanza.
To New Jerseyans and those observing everywhere: Happy Hanukkah! May your celebrations be filled with light, joy, and peace.
I wish those celebrating in New Jersey and across the world a blessed and joyful Christmas!
On this anniversary of the Sandy Hook Elementary mass shooting, my prayers are with their families and community. But prayers are not enough, Congress cannot continue to allow other schoolchildren, educators, and communities to endure the pain of gun violence.
This decision will prevent higher prices on our shelves, protect workers, and support small farmers– stopping further consolidation in our heavily monopolized food system.
The HEARTS Act has passed the Senate. This critical legislation will improve access to AEDs in schools and save lives. I look forward to President Biden signing this into law.
We need continued transparency and vigilance as authorities investigate unauthorized drone flights across our area. That’s why I’m sharing my letter to federal agencies coordinating the investigation.
It is an honor to welcome my friend and a tireless fighter for New Jersey, Andy Kim, to the United States Senate. Together I know we will deliver continued progress for our great state.
Additionally if any New Jersey residents need assistance please contact my office and we will work quickly to support your needs.

I am following the developments in Syria closely. As the situation evolves, we must assist Americans who wish to evacuate. I encourage any American in or travelling to the region to enroll in STEP as soon as possible.

Thanks to Democrats, in 2025 Medicare Advantage and Part D participants have an out of pocket cap of $2,000 on prescription drugs. This will lower costs for so many Americans.
I fully support the EPA's decision to no longer allow the use of chlorpyrifos on foods. Chlorpyrifos is a toxic pesticide that has been linked to developmental delays in young children, and it is long past due that we protect Americans from ingesting this dangerous chemical.
The Second Chance Reauthorization Act provides invaluable resources and support to state and local governments as they prepare incarcerated individuals to reenter society. I’m proud this unanimously passed the Senate and I look forward to its swift passage in the House.
