Frank LaRose thought it was cute to get in a Twitter fight with me about handing over Ohioans' sensitive information to Trump's DOJ.   But now federal court validated our concerns, ruling the Trump data system is UNLAWFUL.
July is fibroids awareness month. As someone who’s dealt with fibroids, I know just how devastating the lack of research & treatment options can be. With this crisis impacting half of all women by age 50, Congress must do more to ensure women get the care they deserve.
While Americans are struggling to afford the basics, President Trump is cashing in.    His policies stack the deck for the wealthiest like himself, leaving everyday Americans stuck with the bill.
Q: Critics say you're profiting off the presidency TRUMP: I'm profiting because the stock market is going up. Everybody is profiting. Thank you President Trump.
The Supreme Court just gave states the green light to openly discriminate against transgender students.   All to fuel a manufactured culture war for political gain.   As an @equality.house.gov member, I’ll never stop fighting for dignity, safety, and equal protection under the law.
What started as a racist lie against Haitians is now official U.S. policy, thanks to the Supreme Court. It is wrong on so many levels.   The House already passed a bill to protect TPS for Haitians, and now the Senate must act before it's too late.
Another day, another Supreme Court ruling that gives wealthy donors and special interests even more influence over our elections.  We need to end Citizens United and reform campaign finance laws to get dark money out of politics.
BREAKING: The Supreme Court just struck down another campaign finance limit, opening a flood of GOP money in the midterms. The change is likely to benefit Republicans, who brought the case and rely more on large donors. 🔗 www.politico.com/news/2026/06...
I'm glad the Supreme Court got one thing right today., but we didn't need a court to tell us what the Constitution already does.  No President gets to change who counts as American.
Supreme Court Upholds Birthright Citizenship in Major Blow to Trump The president and his administration have been arguing that the 14th Amendment shouldn't apply to everyone. Read: bit.ly/4g9VyMX
BREAKING: Another one of Trump's election lies just fell apart. The Supreme Court upheld counting mail-in ballots that arrive during the grace period for elections.  This is a major win for voting rights and a rejection of GOP's efforts to block access to the ballot box. thehill.com/regulation/c...
Congress must act. In April, I proudly voted for legislation to extend TPS status. It is imperative that the Senate pass this legislation quickly. We cannot in good conscience let the Trump Administration deport thousands back to life-threatening conditions in Haiti.
This ruling from the Supreme Court is nothing but a license to feed Trump’s hateful and racist mass deportation machine. The Court has issued an appalling and devastating verdict for the thousands of Haitians who are here legally. Congress must act to extend TPS for Haiti.
Unbelievable. Trump’s war was a total failure that made life more expensive. Now, he’s wants $70 billion to pay for it. With that war money we could cut ACA premiums in half for 20 million Americans – which MAGA says we can’t afford. Trump’s friends got rich, we got the bill.
I am so grateful to Team Brown and my friends for surprising me on my birthday! Thank you to everyone who has reached out to wish me a special day. It has been a long year in Congress with the constant craziness, but I feel truly blessed.
Four years ago today, the Supreme Court overturned #RoevWade and we are still dealing with the terrible consequences of this extreme ruling.   Reproductive rights are fundamental and abortion is health care. I will not stop fighting until we restore our rights nationwide.
This ruling gets it right, the Trump effort to further restrict SNAP purchases is not just wrong it’s unlawful. Millions have already lost nutrition assistance because of Trump’s Big Ugly Law. We need to protect nutrition benefits, not weaken them. civileats.com/2026/06/23/f...
I was honored to join @clefoodbank.bsky.social last week as they unveiled plans for the West Side Community Resource Center.    I’ve been proud to secure federal funding for the GCFB because they demonstrate what it means to serve those in need with respect and dignity.
