NeighborImpact served an average of 83,000 people per month this year. Due to funding cuts, they’re now receiving 17% less food, and are not able to offer meat in their meals.
I led a letter demanding an end to the freeze, so they can continue to help families put food on the table."
As the daughter of two educators, I'm so excited to wish all the teachers out there a happy #TeacherAppreciationWeek.
Your hard work behind the scenes and in the classroom does not go unnoticed. Know you are loved.
When it comes to helping people start new businesses, we should be encouraging growth, not putting up red tape they have to cut through.
My bipartisan ELEVATE Act removes barriers for small businesses and helps them hit the ground running.
Today’s vote on the Gulf of America Act was a COLOSSAL waste of time. I’ve had enough of this foolishness.
What a waste of time.

Let’s talk about Trump’s budget.
It’s #NationalSmallBusinessWeek, and I’ve visited some pretty fire places in the district this month 🔥

This administration lacks a significant amount of critical thinking.
Throwing sh*t at the wall and seeing what sticks is not gonna fly when it’s Americans' well-being on the line.
I’ve BEEN saying Republicans are trying to take away your healthcare.
Now, we have the facts.
But we know Republicans hate those, so...
Spoke with a fantastic group of business leaders from the Portland Metro Chamber last night!
It was a great discussion about how we can work together to boost community development and economic growth in our region and improve quality of life for all Oregonians.
I wrote a letter to Speaker Johnson telling him to focus on costs, but I also told him to his face.

Oregon, I hear you – and I’m with you in the fight against the Trump administration.
Thank you, AG Dan Rayfield, for hosting this important town hall.
Showing up and engaging in these conversations is how we push back and fight for the country we all deserve.
We packed a lot in this weekend in Bend – a town hall, site visits, and lunch at a small business!
Now, back to DC to hold Speaker Johnson accountable for failing to put legislation on the floor to lower costs and make life better for Oregonians.
Got questions about how we’re challenging Trump in the courts? Come by my legal town hall with AG Dan Rayfield tomorrow morning! I look forward to seeing you there.

Republicans have held the majority for over 100 days.
Not a single one has been spent on voting to lower the cost of goods.
That’s why New Dem @bynum.house.gov led 32 Democratic Freshmen in demanding Speaker Mike Johnson finally prioritize lowering costs.

When I came to Congress, one of my top priorities was tacking the affordability crisis. The GOP majority controls which bills come to the floor and so far, Speaker Johnson has not brought a single bill to the floor to lower the cost of living.
