I’m so excited to announce Ren Suo, a high schooler from Estacada, as the winner of the Congressional Art Competition from #OR05.
Her piece, “Waiting,” blew our office away, and I can’t wait to see it hanging in the halls of the Capitol.
Check it out!
Trump and House Republicans are stealing money out of the pockets of the American people.
I won't stand for it.
Today is #InternationalWorkersDay, and I'm shouting out our unions! Thank you for all your work to fight for higher wages, better benefits, and safer working conditions.

I'm focused on lowering costs and protecting American families. The bills we reviewed today and @ushousefsc.bsky.social do the opposite.
I introduced five amendments that actually address issues we came here to work on.

Now, they're leaving DC as national champions!
Way to represent Oregon, and Go Rams!
100 days of chaos, confusion, and uncertainty.
It’s been 100 days of the Trump admin throwing things at the wall to see what sticks.
That includes tariffs, which are already hurting Oregon families and businesses.
I’m fighting back with my Protecting Families From Inflation Act.
Last week, AG Dan Rayfield sued the Trump admin over tariffs impacting our state.
This Saturday, I’ll be joining him at the OSU Cascades Campus for a town hall.
Join us for a conversation about our work to lower costs and stand up for Oregonians.

On my flight to DC this morning, I met Larry, a veteran from Canby, who is heading to Washington for his first honor flight.
Thank you for your service, Larry, and thanks for saying hi!
I welcomed the Civil Air Patrol to my district office last week, including some up-and-coming young cadets 🫡
I heard all about their drills, emergency service trainings, and of course, the flying program! CAP is growing incredible leaders who can truly rise to any challenge.
