There’s a new Special Agent in Charge at the FBI Portland 😎🕵️
Thanks for stopping by, SAC Olson, and for sharing some safety best practices with my office.
Another week in Washington – here’s my report from the hill ⬇️
Wildland firefighters lay their lives on the line to keep us safe, but they are being fired to "cut costs." That's unacceptable.
I'm calling on USDA and Interior to give them back their jobs and put a stop the reckless cuts so Oregon will have the resources we need.
Caught up with the next generation of leaders from @uoregon.bsky.social student government this morning.
I’m expecting great things from you all – you are the future.
Thanks for making the trip, and Go Ducks! 🦆
Following my socials @RepBynum is a great start, but to stay even more in the loop about the work I’m doing for Oregon’s 5th, subscribe to my newsletter! ⬇️

I was told lowering costs was a top priority of this House majority, but I have yet to be given the chance to vote on a piece of legislation that does that.
House Republicans, have your priorities changed?
Mine haven't.
Rose is one of 18,000 children with disabilities in CD5 whose family relies on Medicaid.
I spoke to her mom, Monica, who shared their story with me. Thank you, Monica. I’ll always fight to protect Medicaid and other critical programs that make life better for Oregonians.

I’ve got your back, Oregon. I’m voting no on the budget resolution.
Working the phones with my wonderful front office staff - come and visit us!
Got questions for me as I head to DC this week? Head over to my Instagram story, @RepBynum, where I'm doing an Ask Me Anything!
When people are thinking about where to move, Portland is at the bottom of their lists. And our bleak job market isn't helping. We have to turn that around.
With smart investments and strong leadership we can turn this "doom loop" into a BOOM loop.
As a new Member, it's important to me to show up in communities and introduce myself as a new partner to my constituents.
I was glad to be invited to the ATNI’s Winter Convention, where I met over 400 tribal leaders and learned about how I can best support Oregon's tribes.
Over 1,000 wineries in Oregon could have orders canceled thanks to Trump's suggested tariffs on Canada, by far the largest foreign market for Oregon wine.
I joined @salinas.house.gov to urge him to stop this stunt and avert an unnecessary price hike for Oregon small businesses.
Thanks to Trump's recent proposed cuts to the Forest Service, firefighters are next on the chopping block.
Communities are still rebuilding from a devastating wildfire season – they can't afford the consequences of careless cuts to public safety.
To solve the very real, serious problems Oregonians are facing you need someone ready to disrupt the status quo.
And to get results, someone's got to cut through the partisanship in DC.
Let's get to it – there's no time for foolishness.
Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
