Trump's trade war is crushing small retailers, restaurants, breweries & more—and all the jobs they provide. The GOP's billionaire donors might have the resources to adapt to knee-jerk tariff policy, but small businesses on Main Street don't. They deserve real support, that's what we're demanding ⬇️
Proud to lead this resolution with @whitehouse.senate.gov and @repmcgovern.bsky.social. The attack on the free press is happening right now. Every Member of Congress needs to show where they stand and support this effort to defend the First Amendment.
Trump’s attacks on NPR, PBS & independent journalists are threats, meant to punish truth-tellers and scare anyone who might oppose him. I introduced a resolution to condemn his war on the free press. The 1st Amendment includes press freedom—and we’ll fight any effort that threatens it.

The cost of living is too high, and Trump and Republicans want to make it worse by taxing everyday essentials and cutting the services Americans rely on. House Democrats will keep fighting to protect working families. @ross.house.gov explains more on today's Democratic Daily Download.

Trump doesn't understand his job—which is to protect, preserve, and defend the Constitution. He wants a $90M birthday party with tanks & jets to feed his ego. But he’s not Genghis Khan or Napoleon, he's the President—and he owes a duty to us, the people, and the Constitution.

Three months after the deadliest crash in decades, an Army helicopter forced 2 planes to abort landings at DCA—again. 67 lives is enough. We’ve heard reports of comms breakdowns between agencies but Pete Hegseth & DOD won’t answer questions. His incompetency is becoming a daily threat to Americans.

Trump wants a birthday parade with tanks, jets & 6,600 troops—and he wants YOU to pay for it. This is real waste, fraud and abuse. I introduced the HAPPY BIRTHDAY Budget Act to stop it. He says your kids should have less at Christmas—while he gets a taxpayer-funded parade. This isn't a monarchy.

Trump‘s press secretary Leavitt says in Trump’s world, the only way to get ahead is “through individual dignity, hard work, and merit.” you wouldn’t know that based on his cabinet and his staff .
The attack on a free press is happening right now. Trump ordered NPR & PBS defunded—for telling the truth about the impacts of his administration. World Press Freedom Day isn’t just a celebration anymore. It’s a call to action. I’m introducing a resolution to condemn these authoritarian attacks.
In an executive order, President Trump directs the Corporation for Public Broadcasting to stop funding NPR and PBS. They say he can't. PBS chief Paula Kerger ca… AND HE GETS MORE OUTRAGEOUS EACH WEEK.THIS ISN’T NORMAL
