Matt Gaetz fled Congress before the Ethics Cmte could release its damning report because he knows what’s in it: THE TRUTH about his misconduct. I'm fighting to #ReleasetheGaetzReport b/c the public paid for it and they deserve to see it—especially when we know Trump is eyeing him for future roles.
Pleased to meet w/ @billbrowder.bsky.social and to congratulate him on his well-deserved knighthood! Bill’s fight for the Magnitsky Act has made him a champion for human rights—and #Putin's #1 enemy. We discussed the need to support #Ukraine & to equip them to counter Putin's imperial ambitions.

Big thanks to @podsaveamerica.bsky.social for highlighting my Constitutional amendment to limit the President's pardon power. I've led this effort since 2017 because it's the right thing to do no matter who is in office. Surprisingly I've never had ONE Republican cosponsor. Maybe that will change..

I’ll be on the House Floor demanding a vote on the release of the FULL Ethics report on #MattGaetz. We can't wait around while Republicans turn the Ethics Committee into a place to hide violations instead of adjudicate them. The public deserves to know what's in that report.
The Iranian regime’s death sentences against political prisoners are appalling violations of #HumanRights. As Co-Chair of the #Iran Human Rights & Democracy Caucus and OSCE Special Rep. on Political Prisoners, I condemn these actions and call for an immediate halt. cohen.house.gov/media-center...
I’ve worked on executive pardons issues since 1977 when I served in the TN Constitutional Convention. I’ve had limiting legislation, including pardons of family, before Congress since 2017. Pleased to see @rbreich.bsky.social endorse it. Now it’s time for Republicans to step up and join us.
The pardoning power was never supposed to be a means for presidents to put themselves, their families, members of their administration, and campaign staff above the law. Yet that’s precisely what it has become.
Matt Gaetz said the Ethics Committee's investigation into him was a witch hunt. Then he resigned & withdrew his name for AG to try and keep it under wraps. It's more important now than ever to release the Gaetz ethics report—not only for transparency, but to defend the House's integrity.
The CFPB’s newly proposed rule to stop data brokers from selling your sensitive info to scammers, stalkers, and spies is a great example of why we need it. Be skeptical of anyone saying we should abolish this watchdog agency! www.consumerfinance.gov/about-us/new...
Congratulations to @aoc.bsky.social who got 1 million followers on blue sky in no time at all but geez I’m going into my 10th term, introduced first articles of impeachment (45) ate fried chicken to diss( not dish) chicken Barr, and post some damn good stuff. Follow ME!
Kash Patel supports Qanon conspiracies and wants to destroy the FBI on day one. It’s a sacrilege to even consider him for FBI Director, and it’s an insult to every hardworking DOJ and FBI official we have—many of whom he wants to fire. More here on @newsnation.bsky.social 👇

Anyone troubled by the Hunter Biden pardon should support my Constitutional amendment to reform the pardon power—an effort I've led since 2017. It bans pardons for a POTUS's family, staff, or crimes committed for their benefit. In 7 years it's never had a Republican cosponsor. I hope that changes.
Suggest one like the House rules require 60% to pass a bill like the Senate? Or that we pass a bill limiting S. Ct gov prez immunity? How many Republicans will vote for such?
