We’ve long known Trump and Republicans are anti-worker.
But going after 400,000 VA employees workers, many of whom are Veterans themselves, is a new low. Union busting is, and always has been, a disgraceful attack on the rights and dignity of working people.

RFK Jr. is canceling $500M in mRNA vaccine research—the Nobel Prize‑winning technology that saved millions of lives during COVID and could prevent future pandemics, deadly flu, and even cancer.
This is an attack on innovation that will cost lives and make Americans sicker.
60 years ago today, the Voting Rights Act became law thanks to heroes like John Lewis who risked their lives to fight for our right to vote. We must pass the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act to honor his legacy and defend our democracy from the Trump administration's dangerous attacks.
Today we commemorate the tragic shooting that occurred in Oak Creek, WI, when a white supremacist opened fire in a Sikh gurdwara, killing worshippers in a hate-fueled attack.
I remain committed to ensuring more communities don't have to suffer from hateful acts based on the intolerance of others.
Let’s see how Trump & his cronies try to spin this one.
The latest jobs report shows the U.S. job market is deteriorating under Trump’s price-hiking tariffs, with growth slowing to its weakest pace since the pandemic. Republicans reckless economic agenda is failing America.

Today I introduced the bipartisan Stomach Cancer Prevention and Early Detection Act with Rep. Joe Wilson.
Stomach cancer is deadly, often dismissed, and disproportionately impacts veterans and AANHPIs. Our bill will improve screening, close gaps in care, and help save lives.
The Trump admin is spending $300K to destroy food aid & $10M in birth control instead of helping people.
I joined 79 colleagues in demanding answers from the State Dept on this outrageous waste of taxpayer dollars. @beyer.house.gov, @frankel.house.gov, @meng.house.gov

Last week, I joined the Korean War Veterans Armistice Day Reception to honor our Korean War Veterans and advocate for peace on the peninsula.
I firmly believe in diplomacy’s power and will keep advocating for stronger, bilateral relations between the U.S. & South Korea.
60 years ago, Medicare & Medicaid became law lifelines that help millions live with dignity.
Today, Trump & Republicans are gutting them: $500B cut from Medicare, deepest Medicaid cuts in history.
@housedemocrats.bsky.social won’t back down. We’ll keep fighting to protect and expand care.

60 years ago today, Democrats and Republicans came together to change the course of American history by creating Medicare and Medicaid.
Today, only Democrats are keeping the promise.
Today, House GOP flew to California to try to sell their Big Ugly Bill. They're doing this stunt because they know their bill is a disaster. With @replindasanchez.bsky.social, @gomez.house.gov & @repstevenhorsford.bsky.social , we’re saying, it’s not beautiful, it’s a betrayal.
🚨 It’s official: my Filing Relief for Natural Disasters Act is now law!
This bipartisan bill ensures families and businesses in state-declared disaster zones get filing relief for their federal taxes, no need to wait for a presidential declaration. chu.house.gov/media-center...
The Eaton Fire destroyed the only post office in Altadena. In May, I sent a letter to USPS urging them to reopen a new post office for the community.
I’m thankful to USPS, the Altadena Town Council, and Websters Pharmacy, for making this happen.

Release the files.
I will continue to work with @housedemocrats.bsky.social to get them released.

Masked ICE agents continue to target and intimidate my constituents. And due to Trump’s cruel plan to destroy our immigrant communities, they get away with it.
That’s why I’m proud to join Reps. Gonzalez, Kamlager Dove and Escobar in introducing the Visible Act to hold ICE accountable.
Tonight, I stood with members of the California Delegation to honor the lives of Joshua Kelley-Eklund, Victor Lemus, and William Osborn, 3 courageous detectives who tragically lost their lives in Monterey Park this past Friday.
My thoughts are with their families, colleagues, & all who loved them.
I'm deeply alarmed by the Justice Department's move to slash multilingual services. Language access is a civil right. I stand with @capac.house.gov in condemning the Trump administration's cruel attempt to silence our communities and roll back critical resources.
