Manipulating government data to cover for Trump’s failures? That’s dangerous, dishonest, and authoritarian. www.politico.com/news/2025/06...

I led 27 California Delegation Members in urging
FEMA to fund soil testing AND remediation for homes impacted by the Eaton & Palisades Fires. Survivors shouldn’t have to choose between safety & rebuilding. pasadenanow.com/main/pasaden...
As we celebrate Pride, we remember the accomplishments and sacrifices of previous generations while we continue to strive toward basic respect, freedom and human dignity for all individuals.
I will always fight for equal rights for the LGBTQIA+ Community!
As the first Chinese American woman elected to Congress and Chair Emerita of @capac.house.gov, I am disgusted by Secretary of State Marco Rubio’s statement that the U.S. will 'aggressively' revoke visas for Chinese students.
Yesterday, I hosted a wildfire recovery housing roundtable to tackle one of the biggest challenges after the Eaton Fire: finding stable, long-term housing. I brought together nonprofits, advocates & all levels of government to find real solutions for displaced families. youtube.com/shorts/RYPe2...
Bought & paid for.
Paul Walczak pled guilty to stealing millions from nursing home workers. But because his mom gave $1 million to Trump, he was pardoned.
In the end, the only people who will be punished for his crime are the employees he stole millions of dollars from. nytimes.com/2025/05/27/u...
Heartbreaking: A 4-year-old came here legally with her family for life-saving care. Yet Trump still seeks to deport her despite doctors warning she could die. It’s cruel and inexcusable. www.latimes.com/california/s...
It was a privilege to join Veterans in Sierra Madre, Monrovia, San Marino, and San Gabriel this Memorial Day weekend. We can never repay those who gave their lives for our country, but we’ll always remember their sacrifice and be deeply grateful.
On Harvey Milk Day, we honor a trailblazing Californian who fought for equality as one of the first openly gay elected officials.
Let’s carry his legacy forward by celebrating diversity and making sure everyone can be their true authentic self.

House Republicans just pushed through a bill that:
❌ Kicks 14M off health care
❌ Guts SNAP & Pell Grants
❌ Adds $5T to the debt
❌ Triggers $500B in Medicare cuts
❌ Hikes up energy bills
All to give billionaires a tax break. Shameful. I voted no.
Republicans are pushing a tax bill full of handouts and one of the worst? Eliminating the $200 tax on gun silencers that has been on the books since 1934.
My district has lived through a mass shooting. Republicans should be working to end gun violence, not encouraging it.
I fully support Congresswoman McIver.
These accusations are a blatant abuse of power. As an elected official of NJ-10, @replamonica.bsky.social had every right to visit ICE facilities & conduct oversight.
This is a desperate attempt to silence those holding Trump accountable, but it won’t work.
This May, I’m happy to celebrate Jewish American Heritage Month.
It’s a time to honor the history, culture, & many contributions of Jewish Americans to our country.
This month also serves as a reminder that we must stand united against anti-semitism and all forms of hate.
I’m deeply saddened by this news. My heart goes out to President Biden and his family during this difficult time.
I’m keeping him in my prayers and wishing him a smooth path to recovery.

Nurses are the backbone of our healthcare system. This #NationalNursesWeek, I stand with them in fighting for safe nurse staffing ratios, ensuring quality care for all patients and safer working conditions for our nurses.
Of course I oppose Trump’s budget proposal, which would slash critical funding for education, housing, and environmental programs, and that’s just the start. I won’t stand for it. losangelescountypolitics.com/brownley-tor...
This is the Republicans’ priority as they ignore that working families struggle to afford the basics.
They could have passed Democrats' bill to put a stop Trump's trade war, but this is what Republicans chose to vote on instead.
