This was a vile act of hatred that has absolutely no place in our community, or anywhere. We will not allow this act of hate to intimidate this congregation or any of our Jewish neighbors.

Yesterday, I stood in solidarity with the Pasadena Jewish Temple and Center congregation after a mural was vandalized with antisemitic messages.
Our youth are our future leaders, change-makers, and problem-solvers, and I cannot wait to see the incredible impact they will make in their communities and beyond.
I was thrilled to join local students at the UCLA Center X and Pasadena City College Design-Based Learning Project Camp, where they used their creativity and innovation to design their own city and reimagine Pasadena.
Our economy is slowing, inflation is still high, and families' savings are shrinking because of higher prices. Americans are bearing the consequences of Trump’s war in Iran, his tariffs, and his health care cuts.
These protections are urgently needed. But accountability alone is not enough. Every day Adelanto remains open, more lives are put at risk.
We will keep fighting until Adelanto is shut down once and for all.
For the past ten years, I have gone to Adelanto ICE Processing Center to demand answers for the medical neglect, abuse, and inhumane conditions that has caused inexcusable suffering and death.
Yesterday, I joined @kamlager-dove.house.gov, @cisneros.house.gov, and Rep. Correa to support the Stop ICE’s Medical Neglect Act, which would ensure people in ICE detention can report medical neglect, have their complaints reviewed by board-certified medical professionals & get the care they need.
Trump & Republicans broke that promise. They gutted Medicaid to give billionaires a massive tax cut. Now, millions of Americans are losing coverage--including nearly 40,000 in CA-28.
I won't stop fighting to reverse these devastating cuts.
61 years ago, our country made a promise that getting sick or falling on hard times should never mean going without health care.
The Postal Service doesn't belong to any President. It belongs to the American people.
The Postal Service is an independent public institution, but Trump is trying to politicize it by forcing postal workers to carry out new restrictions on absentee ballots, affecting millions of Americans who depend on them to make their voices heard.
Yesterday, I joined @apwu.bsky.social to deliver one clear message: Protect our postal workers, protect our reliable and essential mail services, and protect the right to vote-by-mail!
Families across CA-28 have spent $104 million more on gas since the beginning of Trump’s illegal war in Iran.
But instead of addressing these sky-high costs, Republicans decided to hand Trump $73 billion more for his reckless war, a war that the House of Representatives has voted to end TWICE.

AANHPIs account for more than 50% of hepatitis B cases in the U.S. and are 5x more likely to die from hepatitis B-related diseases than non-Hispanic White people.
This #WorldHepatitisDay, let's work toward a future where everyone has access to the care they need.

As the only psychologist in Congress, I know how critical timely, high-quality mental health care is. Our Veterans answered the call to serve our country. They should never have to fight to get the care they’ve earned.
Today, I led 62 of my Democratic colleagues in a letter demanding answers from U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs Doug Collins about cuts to the Veterans Health Administration’s behavioral and mental health workforce.
That’s why I joined @joaquincastrotx.bsky.social’s letter demanding DHS shut down Dilley NOW.
