President Trump and Republicans must right this wrong by immediately fulfilling Gov. Newsom's supplemental funding request and providing the aid that so many survivors desperately need and deserve.
Handing over tens of billions for an illegal, deeply unpopular war while ignoring the needs of disaster survivors across the country, including those devastated by the Eaton Fire, is embarrassing and wrong.
Today in @housebudgetdems.bsky.social, Republicans advanced their America Last Agenda with a budget that does absolutely nothing to help working families.
That’s why today in @housebudgetdems.bsky.social, I will be introducing my amendment to protect access to affordable health care for over 20 million Americans and fight against Republicans’ attacks on the ACA.
Instead of doing anything to lower the high cost of health care, Republicans are attempting to pass a budget that wastes billions of taxpayer dollars on Trump’s illegal war in Iran.
Trump's attempt to freeze $10 billion for child care and social services funding was an obviously illegal and baseless attempt to punish blue states he disagrees with, and I am relieved to see it finally rescinded.
The best submissions will be posted on my platforms, and the picture with the most votes (likes) by July 20 will be declared the winner and displayed in my Washington, D.C. office.

No one should have to ration medicine or walk away from the pharmacy counter because of cost. But more than 1 in 4 Pennsylvanians have. That’s why I’m proud to co-lead the Drug Deal Disclosure Act with @chu.house.gov to force transparency around Trump’s secret drug pricing deals.
Graphic announcing Congresswoman Summer Lee introducing the Drug Deal Disclosure Act to compel the release of the deals struck between the Trump Administration and pharmaceutical manufacturers
If Trump's deals are as good as he claims, he should have nothing to hide. That's why I introduced the Drug Deal Disclosure Act with @usrepkathycastor.bsky.social, @repsummerlee.bsky.social, & @repchrispappas.bsky.social to force the Trump Admin to make these agreements public.
Trump keeps claiming his secret deals with Big Pharma will lower prescription drug prices. When Democrats had control, we actually delivered lower prices by empowering Medicare to negotiate drug prices, capping insulin at $35 a month for seniors, and limiting out-of-pocket drug costs.
That's why we are working together to pass my Increasing Access to Mental Health in Schools Act to address the shortage of school psychologists and ensure every student gets the support they need to thrive.
As the only psychologist in Congress and a former educator for over 20 years, I know that school psychologists are indispensable for meeting students' mental health needs but they are being stretched too thin with overwhelming caseloads.
4 million people. 1.5 million children. 300,000 Californians. Those are the Americans who have lost food assistance one year after Trump's Big Ugly Bill. No child should go hungry so Republicans can fund tax breaks for billionaires.
In the past week, we have seen two deaths occur at the hands of ICE. It's so important you know your rights if you encounter ICE, regardless of your immigration status. Please keep yourself and your communities safe. To learn more about your rights, visit: www.aclu.org/know-your-ri...
