Just because you have access to classified information, that absolutely doesn’t mean your family does. Bringing your spouse to sensitive intelligence meetings is NOT normal.

The experts who make sure our drugs are safe, review clinical trials, and track diseases and pandemics were shown the door yesterday by Trump’s unqualified HHS Secretary. This puts the health of every American in greater danger. apnews.com/article/heal...
Reckless. Stupid. Hypocritical. If China and Russia haven’t already hacked this private email server, America should count itself lucky.
My friend @booker.senate.gov is a man of deep faith. So when he spoke on the floor for more than 25 hours today, the least I could do is give him some words of Scripture to help inspire him.
My friend @booker.senate.gov is holding the Senate floor right now to call attention to the alarming and harmful actions of this administration. I was glad to go down the floor to ask him a question about Trump’s coming tariffs and the harm it will cause to Americans who are already struggling.
Don't fall for April Fools' jokes today—like pranks from Trump and Republicans where they pretend they won't cut Social Security and Medicaid.
If the Trump administration is this careless with classified national security information, how can you trust that they won’t be careless with your personal information?
I joined my friend @booker.senate.gov in speaking out against the Trump/Musk plan to gut Medicaid and Social Security—just so they can pay for more tax breaks for billionaires. This is just wrong.
Heading down to the Senate floor in a minute to support my friend @booker.senate.gov's all night effort to hold the floor and stand up to Trump and Elon Musk. Delaware is fighting back and so am I. www.senate.gov/legislative/...
In the end, the only things Trump will have accomplished with this announcement are making America weaker and Americans less safe.
President Trump’s announcement that he’s shutting down USAID will undoubtedly get thrown out by the courts, but the damage that will be done while this wends its way through our legal system – to our reputation and to lives around the world and here at home – will be immense.
For less than 1% of our federal budget, USAID and our foreign aid apparatus has kept American citizens safe from infectious diseases like Ebola, stopped terrorist groups and human trafficking gangs before they get started, and deflated China’s spheres of influence in the global south.
Huh. I always thought Republicans were supposed to be the party of free markets.
This debacle just keeps getting worse. It’s increasingly unclear whether any other nation will continue to trust us with classified intelligence.

I worked hard to secure over $100 million which would've gone directly to Delaware communities and nonprofits for affordable housing, workforce development, & health care expansion.
But because of Republican dysfunction, none of these projects will be funded. spotlightdelaware.org/2025/03/25/d...
Secretary Hegseth has put our servicemembers in danger and our credibility as a security partner at risk. He can no longer credibly claim that he makes our country safer. For the good of our nation, he must resign.

"I have increasing certainty and confidence that the gospel I read and that the Lord I serve is appalled and even angry at the ways in which power is being used in this town today to cut out, to deprive, and to harm those who are at the very margins of our world and our society.”
-Sen. Chris Coons
Our research universities are the rocket fuel for America’s economic strength. The Trump administration is trying to end our country’s run as the capital of global innovation.

Elon Musk and his DOGE bros think vampires are collecting Social Security.
Dracula is fiction – and so is the notion of widespread fraud at the Social Security Administration.
The damage DOGE is doing to grandma's benefits, however, is very real. www.washingtonpost.com/business/202...
Our national parks are some of our nation's biggest tourist sites, but thanks to Trump's reckless firing of park workers, our parks won't be ready for this year's crush of visitors. Local economies and natural treasures across the country will pay the price. www.washingtonpost.com/travel/2025/...

Alignment stats consider only votes where a clear yes/no majority existed for the legislator's party. Cross-party marks divergence where the vote matched the opposite party majority. ↔ indicates cross-party divergence.
