Today is National Gun Violence Awareness Day. I #WearOrange to honor the countless lives that are taken by gun violence each year.
I am committed to passing common-sense solutions to put an end to the gun violence epidemic in America.
Today is World Environment Day. Last month, I joined the Chicago River Day Cleanup in Crestwood. This annual cleanup improves water quality and outdoor spaces in our district.
Earlier this week, I hosted a town hall at Saint Xavier University in Chicago. I answered questions about what’s happening in Washington and heard how President Trump’s actions are impacting constituents.
Happy Pride Month! LGBTQ+ rights are human rights, and I will always fight back against attacks on the LGBTQ+ community.
Donald Trump’s budget bill would impact the health and well-being of the 130,479 people who rely on Medicaid in IL-06.

Why 2am?
They know this is a bad bill and hope you don't learn about it, so they called for debate and a vote overnight.
This week, House Republicans worked almost exclusively in the middle of the night to pass a bill they hope you don't hear about.
