The Litigation Task Force is leading in this critical moment, coordinating with AGs & legal partners nationwide to hold Donald Trump accountable & support ongoing legal efforts across the country. I am glad to be a part of this team as we help drive a unified legal strategy to defend democracy.
RFK Jr. was not under oath last week when he accused Dr. Monarez of lying as to why she was fired from the CDC. It's time for my GOP colleagues to stop covering for Kennedy. HHS leadership & Dr. Monarez must come before E&C so we can provide the American people with what they deserve: the truth.
As a lifelong Broncos fan, it is incredible news that the team is staying in Denver. I remember going to Broncos games with my dad when I was a kid, and with today’s announcement, I can look forward to taking my grandkids to games and showing them what it means to be a Broncos fan.
Under the Big Bad Bill, Coloradans are stuck paying more & getting less: ❌ $310 higher energy bills by 2035 ❌ 9,600 jobs lost in 5 years ❌ Billions in clean energy investment on the line Colorado should be leading the way on clean energy—not losing jobs & raising costs because of Donald Trump.
September is Suicide Prevention Awareness Month, a reminder of the ongoing need in our country to expand resources to address this crisis. I will continue fighting in Congress for high-quality, affordable mental health care that is accessible to all Americans.
The Supreme Court just greenlit Trump’s radical immigration raids in LA by allowing his admin to continue its racial profiling tactics. This pushes us down a dark path that allows law enforcement officers to target individuals based on race, ethnicity, & language, regardless of immigration status.
Honored to join the Opening Ceremony of the Colorado Dragon Boat Festival today! 🐉 Since 2001, this proud Denver tradition at Sloan’s Lake has been a colorful celebration of our city’s AANHPI culture and community.
Dr. Susan Monarez was fired as CDC Director by Secretary Kennedy for refusing to rubber-stamp his anti-vax agenda. The CDC must be guided by science, not politics. That's why I sent a letter demanding GOP leaders on E&C bring RFK Jr. & HHS officials before our committee to answer for this now.
RFK Jr. lied under oath about rolling back vaccines. That alone should disqualify him from public service. Even Republicans are calling him out on this. He has to go.
Barrasso: "Secretary Kennedy, in your confirmation hearings you promised to uphold the highest standards for vaccines. Since then I've grown deeply concerned. The public has seen measles outbreaks, leadership in the NIH questioning use of mRNA vaccines, the CDC director fired ... "
RFK Jr.’s reckless, anti-science policies are needlessly causing Americans to suffer. He ousted CDC Director Dr. Monarez for rejecting his evidence-free vaccine policies, purged respected scientists, & gutted research. We cannot allow this to stand. It's time for RFK Jr. to go.
Trump is doing everything he can to hide the truth about Epstein—and GOP leadership is letting him. That's why I just signed the bipartisan discharge petition to release the entirety of the Epstein files. The victims deserve justice. The American people deserve the truth.
Happy Labor Day! Workers are the backbone of Colorado and our country. Today, I am proud to honor their contributions to our community and recommit to protecting workers.
August is National Immunization Month. As students across Denver head back to school, now is a great time to get your kids caught up on their vaccines – to keep you, your family, and our community healthy.
In just 31 weeks, over 300 lawsuits have been filed against Trump’s illegal agenda. As a member of the Litigation Task Force, I am proud to stand alongside my colleagues, citizens, and the legal community as we vigorously challenge Trump’s lawlessness in the face of unprecedented intimidation.
In June, I called him out for spreading vaccine misinformation. Instead of taking responsibility, he's doubled down. As the top Democrat on the Health subcommittee, I will not back down from calling out RFK Jr.'s blatant political interference & negligence.
