We need an attorney general who will restore independence to the Justice Department, not act like the president’s personal attorney.
Pam Bondi turned a blind eye to Trump’s broad daylight corruption, covered up the Epstein Files, used the law to go after the president’s political enemies, and fired career prosecutors who opposed her.
Congress cannot sit on the sidelines as Trump tries to put more tariffs in place. Republicans need to join Democrats to stop this economic chaos.
One year ago, Trump unleashed his reckless ‘Liberation Day’ tariffs on American families & small businesses.
Tariffs raised the cost of groceries, health care, housing, & child care for families.
Great to meet with Snohomish Mayor Hoffman. I look forward to working together to improve our community.
President Trump started a war in Iran with no goals & no strategy. Now he has no idea how to get out of it & you’re paying the price.
The American people don’t want another forever war in the Middle East.
Stopped by Mr. Hayman’s AP Government & Politics class at Lake Stevens High School. Great to chat with so many students who care about a broad set of issues & the world around them.
Wishing all who are celebrating in WA & around the world a happy & meaningful Passover. Chag Sameach!
The Constitution is clear: If you’re born in the United States, you’re a citizen.
No matter how hard the president tries, he can’t change that.
SCOTUS must take this case seriously & defend the Constitution.
The 2 Line across Lake Washington is now open, connecting Eastsiders & Seattleites like never before! We asked people to share what this new transit opportunity means to them.
March is National Kidney Month! As co-chair of the Kidney Caucus, I’m fighting for investments in new lifesaving treatments & pushing back on health care cuts that make it harder for patients to get the care & preventive services they need.
Conversion therapy is not health care & has been widely discredited by the medical community.
This decision will put LGBTQ+ children in danger & have lasting impacts on their well-being.

The Supreme Court heard a case last week that could make it harder to vote by mail.
WA permits ballots to be counted if postmarked by Election Day but delivered after. The court could force state officials to reject ballots that arrive after Election Day, even if postmarked on time.
First trip on the 2 Line across Lake Washington!!
Trump & Republicans are actively trying to make mail-in voting harder for millions of Americans, yet the president has regularly voted by mail. You should have the same ability to vote by mail as the president.
Washington is in bloom 🌸
🚨🚨The 2 Line connection over Lake Washington is now open!! This is a historic win for our community. Seattleites & Eastsiders will now be connected like never before! 🚆
Speaker Johnson is wasting our time & blocking funding for critical agencies like the Coast Guard, FEMA, & TSA. Let’s pass the bipartisan Senate agreement & get on with negotiating the reforms to ICE that Americans are demanding.
The SAVE America Act is anti-women. This harmful bill would make it harder for married women & others who changed their name to vote by requiring more paperwork.
