As data centers are being proposed & constructed across our commonwealth, there are questions about their impact on our existing grid and energy prices that PA communities need answers to. That’s why @repdean.bsky.social and I are pressing federal electricity regulators for answers & transparency.
In Philadelphia and beyond, families are struggling to afford the rising cost of gas, groceries, and utilities. And what’s Trump focused on right now? Printing a $250 bill with his face on it.
Breaking news: Trump administration officials have pressed the Bureau of Engraving and Printing to design a $250 bill featuring the president’s portrait, in what would be the first appearance of a living person on U.S. currency in more than 150 years.
Last night, House Republican leadership stopped the House from voting on this Iran War Powers Resolution because they knew it was going to pass. A majority of Americans are against this reckless war of choice, and House Democrats will keep fighting to end it.
13 American servicemembers have died. Billions of dollars spent. Gas prices are soaring. Earlier this week, the Senate did the right thing and advanced a War Powers Resolution that would rein in Trump. Today, the House must do the same. It’s far past time to end this illegal war of choice.
Planning a BBQ this weekend? Thanks to President Trump's tariff-taxes and war of choice: 🥩 Sirloin steaks are nearly 20% more expensive 🍅 Tomatoes are 50% more expensive 🌽 Corn is 98% more expensive 🫐 Blueberries are nearly 30% more expensive

Not only did the president create a $1.8 billion taxpayer-funded giveaway for criminals and his political allies, but Trump also got himself and his sons a "get out of jail free" card. The Republican majorities in Congress should work with Democrats to STOP this.
Coming right after National Police Week, will congressional Republicans join Democrats in standing with the officers who defended the Capitol on January 6? Or will they support Trump's new soft-on-crime Rioter Rewards fund?
It's Day 82 of Trump's illegal war of choice. He didn’t have the constitutionally required approval from Congress to go to war with Iran — and he certainly doesn’t have it for a war with Cuba!
President Trump and congressional Republicans’ #ReverseRobinHood $1 TRILLION cut to Medicaid is leaving Philadelphians with less access to care and hurting our community.
St. Christopher's Hospital for Children is cutting jobs and shutting down one of its medical units as health systems across the region brace for large-scale reductions in federal Medicaid spending.
You should NOT be forced to subsidize this president’s brazenly corrupt slush fund. That’s why I’m joining @mikethompson.house.gov and my @waysmeanscmte.bsky.social Democratic colleagues in introducing legislation that would claw back any payments from this scheme.
