ICYMI: At just 41%, Trump has the lowest approval rating for a president's first 100 days in office going back decades to President Eisenhower in the 1950s.

It's been almost a 100 days into Trump's presidency, yet the country is still waiting for him to lower inflation like he promised to on "day one."
No wonder only 35% of Americans approve of his handling of inflation.

Can’t believe the Biden administration never thought of tweeting at Putin and asking him to stop the war
In an era of division, two women chose forgiveness when confronting the white supremacist who slaughtered their loved ones in the horrific Aug 3, 2019 attack in El Paso.
He took 23 lives, but he didn’t take their humanity.

Part Three (where we are now): Trump back pedals and blames the press.
Now we just have to wait for him to take credit for stocks rebounding for the drop he single-handedly caused.
Part One: Fed Chair Jerome Powell puts a pause on lowering interest rates, so Trump suggests several times in less than a week he’d fire Jerome Powell.
Part Two: Stocks plummet as a result of Trump saying he’d fire Powell.
We’re back! Here’s a recap of the Trump cycle involving Jerome Powell and the Fed.
I stand with my Democratic colleagues in defense of environmental protections and our right to a safe, livable planet.
This Earth Day, I recommit to fighting against the Trump administration's continued attacks on our environment.
By threatening our land, water, and air, Trump is risking food shortages, raising prices, and killing jobs when Americans are already struggling to make ends meet.
I remain grateful for his visit to our binational community and for the blessing he gave our city.
May His Holiness rest in eternal peace.
I join millions around the world in mourning the passing of Pope Francis.
Like thousands of El Pasoans, I was fortunate to attend his historic visit and mass in Ciudad Juárez with my mom.
People will have less access to healthcare because Republicans decided the wealthy need more tax cuts.
All of this is interconnected; as Republicans make massive, harmful cuts to programs and organizations that provide critical services like cancer screenings, communities like ours are severely impacted.
By withholding Title X funds from Planned Parenthood health centers, the government is making it harder for people to afford the health care they need – birth control, cancer screenings, STI testing and treatment, and wellness exams.
During a visit this week to Planned Parenthood, it was brought to my attention that 75% of Planned Parenthood's patients rely on Title X funding, which Donald Trump froze.
A thread.
I’m not holding my breath.

Earlier this week, I sent an email to nearly 200k El Pasoans asking about Trump’s job approval.
It should come as no surprise that following his disastrous tariffs, his disdain for the rule of law, and more, 79% of respondents said they did not approve of his job performance.
I am saddened by the loss of two U.S. service members who were killed in yesterday's accident in Santa Teresa.
I'm praying that the third service member who remains in serious condition recovers, and I'm thinking of the families of all involved.
