In the 37 years since The Simpsons was created, we have gone from a middle-class family being able to get by with one working parent and three children as the norm – to that reality being out of reach for too many young people.
On the Beyond the Hyphen podcast, I spoke with Mark Li – an incredible high schooler at River Hill – about an issue that’s top of mind for so many young people in this country: the affordability crisis.
Whether it’s protecting crucial data for severe weather prediction and response or taking partisan politics out of our national parks, I’m committed to ensuring our natural treasures are preserved and accessible for all our neighbors for generations to come.
After visiting last year as part of our year-long military installation tour, I returned this week to take a deep-dive on their fleet modernization plans and how they design, build, and maintain military vessels for all the branches of our Armed Services.
