That’s why I’m working with members of the Natural Resources Committee on both sides of the aisle to get these bills passed.
One of the few places Democrats and Republicans can agree on is that new and innovative energy generation, like geothermal, is a critical piece of the energy puzzle that requires our attention and investment.
It’s geothermal day in the House Natural Resources Committee. We are in the midst of an energy affordability crisis that is impacting American families across the country.
It was incredible to be a part of the magic of this weekend and cheer on our Midshipmen as they secured one of many victories!
The Army-Navy football game wasn’t the only game in town this weekend! 🏒 Thank you so much, Head Coach Ashley Harper, for inviting me to drop the puck at the first Army-Navy Women’s Hockey game of the season! 🏒
We’re less than ONE hour away from our Instagram live with @aguilar.house.gov! If you want to learn more about how House Democrats are fighting to stop rising health care costs, be sure to tune in @repsarahelfreth on Instagram today at 7:30 PM. I look forward to hearing from you!
234 years ago today, our nation ratified one of our most important founding documents that has protected our fundamental rights as Americans: the Bill of Rights. Today, we celebrate their enduring role in safeguarding liberty and justice as we strive for a more perfect union.
On the first night of Hanukkah, I want to wish all those celebrating in #MD03 a very happy holiday season filled with love and joy. These next eight nights and days are about bringing light to places where there has been darkness. May your candles burn bright this season.
Our live conversation with House Democratic Caucus Chair @aguilar.house.gov is happening TOMORROW, Monday, December 15th at 7:30 PM. We will be discussing what House Democrats are doing to fight rising health care costs and tackle affordability as we enter the new year. Don’t miss it!
From her first day at Crofton High School, Ms. Crankfield got to work fighting to make sure advanced classes more closely reflect the composition and diversity of all of our students. Congratulations, Ms. Crankfield!
I wouldn’t be in Congress if it weren’t for my own Ms. Crankfields. For our first Maryland Minute, I’m proud to recognize a leader who has gone above and beyond to inspire young minds: 2026 National School Counselor of the Year, Ms. Danielle Crankfield, the first Marylander to receive this honor!
Here in Maryland’s Third District, I’ll be spending tonight with the Jewish community, standing in solidarity.
No one should live in fear while practicing their faith. We mourn with Australia and condemn this violent act of antisemitism. My heart goes out to the Jewish community as families across the globe come together to celebrate the first night of Hanukkah.
Horrified by last night’s mass shooting at Brown University. My prayers are with the students, faculty, and their families during the difficult final weeks of the semester. Congress has a responsibility to pass common-sense gun safety regulation so that all student can feel safe on campus.
Earlier this week at Indian Head, I sat down for lunch with Marines to talk about how we can support their work in Congress. We talked about a wide range of issues, but one important issue came up: attending the Army-Navy game. Glad we could help these Marines make it out to America’s game! 🇺🇸
In great company with Mayor Littmann cheering on our Midshipmen. Go Navy, beat Army!
While it’s not perfect, it is one piece of legislation that passes Congress every year, which is why I’m proud that 28 of my provisions were included in the final bill to improve the lives of our servicemembers, veterans, their families, and Maryland.
After months of negotiations and debate across the aisle, the House passed the crucial, bipartisan National Defense Authorization Act – or the NDAA.
The House has passed the Protect America's Workforce Act, which stops President Trump's unlawful attacks on workers and restores 60+ years of collective bargaining rights for our hard-working federal employees. Now it’s on to the Senate.
