🍎 Feed 160,000 vulnerable women, infants, and children for a month. 🏠 House 4,000+ homeless Veterans. 🩺 Fund a year of outpatient care for 31,000+ Veterans. 🛣️ Repave 45 miles of worn‑out roads. 👶 Enroll 5,500 low‑income preschoolers in Head Start.
President Trump is spending $45 million of your money on a military birthday parade—for himself. Not for our Veterans. Not for readiness. For himself. Here’s what we could do with $45 million instead of Trump’s military birthday parade 🧵⬇️
As Chair Emerita, I join the @demwomencaucus.bsky.social to mark the 62nd anniversary of the Equal Pay Act since becoming law. Today, we renew our commitment to fight for the equal pay, workplace protections, and economic security that all women deserve.
As antisemitism continues to rage, I'm proud to have led the effort in Congress to rename the Delray Post Office after Ben Ferencz, who was the last living prosecutor from the Nuremberg trials. A longtime Kings Point resident, he dedicated his life to speaking out against hate.
RFK told us directly that we shouldn't take medical advice from him, and now he's fired every expert on the scientific committee that reviews and recommends vaccines for the public. He's putting the health of every American at risk on the basis of conspiracy theories.
BREAKING: RFK Jr. removes every member of scientific committee that advises the CDC on vaccine use, pledging to replace them with his own picks.
Trump promised to fight waste, fraud, and abuse. Yet, $12M worth of lifesaving HIV-prevention and contraceptive medication is collecting dust in warehouses and set to be destroyed like garbage, while the world’s most vulnerable are left to suffer. This is cruel and immoral.
On this 81st anniversary of D-Day, we honor the thousands of brave Americans who charged into danger on the shores of Normandy to defend democracy around the world. Their heroism shaped the world we live in today, and we will never forget the price they paid for our freedoms.
After months of agony, the bodies of Gadi and Judi Haggai, an Israeli-American couple Hamas brutally murdered and held hostage since October 7, have been recovered. I’m holding their loved ones close in my heart as they find the strength to lay Gadi and Judi to rest.
Always good to catch up with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and hear about the important work they’re doing in Palm Beach County. We went over efforts to protect our beaches, prevent flooding, and keep our drinking water clean and safe.
Jordan is a vital and reliable U.S. security partner in the Middle East, including in efforts to advance stability and combat terrorism across the region. Great to meet with Ambassador Dina Kawar of Jordan to discuss how we can continue strengthening our partnership. 🇺🇸🇯🇴
I’m deeply honored to join the U.S. Holocaust Memorial Museum's Holocaust Memorial Council and help carry forward its mission to keep the lessons of the Holocaust alive. At a time when antisemitism is surging at alarming levels, it is our duty to stand united against hate in all its forms.
We now know the horrifying attack in Boulder was an antisemitic hate crime—targeting Jewish people peacefully marching to raise awareness of hostages still held by Hamas. I again condemn this vile act of terror, demand full accountability, and hold the victims in my heart.
I know many of you are feeling anxious, angry, and overwhelmed by the chaos coming out of the Trump Administration. I’ve launched a page on my website to keep you informed on how I’m fighting back and holding the President accountable. Check it out ⬇️
This order targets immigrants who followed all the rules, passed background checks, and earned permits to work and contribute to our communities. This doesn't make our country safer or more prosperous, it just punishes legal immigrants trying to live their lives. www.nbcnews.com/politics/sup...
