California has responded. Texas has f*cked around, now they’re gonna find out.

BIG NEWS: On Wed 9/3, I’m convening a national summit to tackle the most complex challenge families face today: housing.
Everyone deserves a safe, affordable place to call home. I'm uniting leaders, advocates & experts to solve this crisis.
RSVP to join us in DC or online! bit.ly/nationalhous...
Who could’ve possibly guessed that deporting America’s farmworkers, slapping massive tariffs on our closest partners, and gutting food assistance would make groceries more expensive? Shocker.
Kick off the school year with #TeamGomez!
I’m hosting a Back-to-School Breakfast to meet families, hear what’s on your mind, and share updates on my work in Congress.
📆 Sat. 8/23 | 9–11 AM PT
📍 Glassell Park area (address with RSVP)
Hope to see you there! bit.ly/backtoschoolbreakfastRSVP
Every time I've visited the DTLA detention center unannounced, ICE locked me out. They're desperate to hide the horrifying conditions inside and betting we’ll just give up.
Well that's not happening, and we won’t stop until every detail is exposed.
If you need another example of Trump’s unchecked power, here it is:
Outside our press conference announcing California’s plan to stop Trump from stealing the election, he sent ICE agents to disrupt and intimidate us.
But united, we are unshakable. We will not be silenced. And we WILL win in 2026.
It’s back-to-school day for @laschools.bsky.social!
I welcomed students at John Liechty Middle School in MacArthur Park and stood with @utlanow.bsky.social, teachers, parents, and immigrant rights groups to make sure every student feels welcomed, supported, and safe.
My statement supporting California's plan to stop Trump from rigging the 2026 election.
What I saw inside the DTLA detention center was straight out of the Twilight Zone.
Just months ago, this facility held 300 detainees a day. When I walked in, it was empty with every trace erased.
People are vanishing under Trump. We cannot let this go on any longer.
Trump said tariffs would only hit our rivals, then he slapped them on our allies.
He promised to get tough on trade, then gave corporations a pass.
Now, he’s extending China’s tariff break AGAIN.
Same Trump. Different Tuesday 🌮
ICE had 14 days to clean their cells, restock food, and ship hundreds of detainees out.
What I saw yesterday at the DTLA detention facility was a sanitized display meant to hide the truth.
We deserves to know what’s happening inside these walls, not propaganda.

After giving DHS a 14-day notice, I FINALLY got inside the DTLA detention center and field office.
This summer, it held 300+ people a day. Today, there were just 2.
ICE and DHS are hiding the truth and blocking real oversight. We demand answers, access, and accountability.
☀️Our summer passport fair was a success! Today, #TeamGomez assisted 150 Angelenos in applying and renewing their passports.
✈️ Have travel plans? Reach out to our office for help, and subscribe to our newsletter for the next passport fair this fall.
Texas was just the beginning...
Republicans know they can't win a fair election, so they're redrawing state maps to silence your vote and your voice.
They'll do anything to cling to power — except pass policies that actually help working families. www.politico.com/news/2025/08...
On Day 1, Trump vowed to end inflation and “make America affordable again.”
200 days in, prices are rising faster than ever.
Trump’s tariffs are a tax on working families, and the rich keep getting richer...
There you have it folks! Trump’s Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent admits on live TV that it's American families, not foreign governments, who will ultimately pay for Trump’s tariffs.
Trump’s tariffs aren’t paid by foreign countries — they’re paid by YOU.
They’re taxes on imports, and it’s American consumers and small businesses who eat the cost.
The worst part? Billionaires don’t feel a thing. www.npr.org/2025/08/07/n...
Trump thinks he’s “entitled” to cheating millions of Texans out of their vote.
If his Big “Beautiful” Law is so great, why’s he scared of a fair election?
What’s worse: Trump admitting he was close to Epstein for years, or treating women at Mar-a-Lago like they were his property?
Either way, the public deserves answers. Release the files.
ICE is using moving vans to conduct raids.
They’re not going after criminals—they’re targeting workers. This morning in MacArthur Park, agents raided a Home Depot and arrested 16 immigrants just looking for a job. MS-13 isn’t doing day labor. If ICE wanted to catch violent criminals, they would.
