The people Donald Trump wants to deport work in our restaurants, hotels, our homes and pick our food we will eat on Thanksgiving. They deserve a chance to earn citizenship or residency, not being ripped from their families. It’s inhumane and cruel.
State owned or affiliated media. Slashing federal workers & institutions. Disinformation campaigns. Making the rich richer. Controlling women and their bodies. Folks, it’s starting. Don’t let the moment pass you, and if you need rest do so quickly, because we need to be ready to fucking fight.
One of the defining characteristics of the MAGA movement is how misinformed they are. Pretty anti-science also. Sad for those folks. The people I don’t feel bad for are the ones manipulating these folks for their own financial gain.
I think people underestimate the influence that comic books has had on teaching social justice and responsibility to young people across the country and world. IMHO no other type of American fiction has had a greater impact on the public good and creating good humans.
I hope people realize that trans people make up a very small group in this country. The trans people I know are also some of the most brave people I have ever met. Do not stop fighting, I certainly won’t.
Rep McBride has also been courageous and I will continue to support her and her approach to dealing with House Republicans. I also know that she understands that this issue is bigger than her alone. We have trans capitol staff and visitors. This impacts trans people everywhere and is dehumanizing.
