Secretary Hegseth has shown a complete disregard for the safety of our service members and the integrity of our military.
I led a group of my colleagues in demanding answers from Secretary Hegseth on the chaos at the Department of Defense and the turmoil that is threatening our national security.

As a member of the @democrats-armedservices.house.gov and the House Committee on Small Business, proud to stand shoulder to shoulder with Granite State companies to protect our national security.
Our military supply chains are critical to our national security.
New Hampshire small businesses, including Soldier Systems D-MIL in Gilsum and Environmental Alternatives, Inc. in Swanzey, are critical to the future of our military supply chains.
Productive and powerful conversation today with providers and patients at Monadnock Community Hospital in Peterborough about the devastating impact that cuts to Medicaid would have on the families they serve. Proud to represent their voices in the fight to protect Medicaid.
Everywhere I go, I hear from Granite Staters about the vital role that Medicaid plays in their lives. From families seeking care for chronic illnesses, to doctors and nurses like those at Monadnock Community Hospital, keeping our communities healthy.
Great visit this morning at ConVal High School. I joined teachers and students at ConVal’s extraordinary CTE Center, where I saw firsthand the amazing work of our students, who are our future.
I’m a big believer in ConVal and will always fight for New Hampshire’s public schools and CTE centers.
We cannot & will not give up on addressing the climate crisis.
Climate change is a threat to our national security, economy, and future. On #EarthDay 2025, proud to stand with Granite Staters in Concord & across NH as we commit to tackling this crisis and overcoming the challenges ahead, together.
Granite Staters are facing sky-high prices—the last thing you need is to be worried about tariffs raising costs on car repairs, grocery receipts, or energy bills. Great conversations today at Sanel NAPA Auto Parts in Concord about the impact a global trade war will have on our economy & your wallet.
We owe a sacred obligation to our veterans & servicemembers — an obligation that Easterseals NH & Swim With A Mission are helping us meet.
I toured the Military & Veterans Campus in Franklin, which will be a game-changer for NH’s servicemembers & veterans. Proud to support this critical mission.
Governing is a team effort & we couldn’t ask for better partners than our partners in Franklin. Important discussion about how we’ll work together to protect the safety & health of the people of Franklin in the face of historic cuts to mission-critical federal programs.
I believe in Franklin. 🇺🇸
New Hampshire is home to some of our nation’s greatest history and dedicated institutions that help us preserve it.
Today, I visited Canterbury Shaker Village and heard about how IMLS funding makes their mission possible. Proud to help lead the fight to protect IMLS and the important role it plays.
This latest revelation is yet another violation of the sacred oath he swore to our country and our military and a dangerous breach of the trust of the men and women who serve our country in uniform.
When will Mr. Trump do his job and fire Pete Hegseth?
As I’ve said from the beginning: Pete Hegseth never should have been nominated or confirmed to serve as Secretary of Defense.
He is making our country and our troops less safe every day. He should have resigned weeks ago.
Good luck to Thomas and all of the Granite Staters competing in the Boston Marathon tomorrow — I know you will make us proud!
To everyone celebrating in New Hampshire and across the world, I hope you have a blessed Easter and a day filled with joy, love, and renewal.
Honored to say congrats and thank you to 70 people from 30 countries who became American citizens in Concord today.
Thank you for choosing America. Thank you for keeping the faith on the long road to becoming a fellow American. And thank you for making the best state in the nation your home. 🇺🇸
New Hampshire’s kids are our future.
I’m proud to support the work & mission of the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Salem, NH. Yesterday, I saw firsthand the lasting impact their team is having on the community & how they are equipping our youngest generations with the life skills they need to thrive.
Medicaid is a lifeline for thousands of Granite Staters, including the community & residents at Salemhaven. From long-term care to rehabilitation & adult day care, Medicaid makes the support Salemhaven provides possible. I'll never stop fighting to protect the benefits NH seniors & families rely on.
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month – a time to lift up the voices of survivors and break the silence and stigma.
You are not alone.
The NH Coalition Against Domestic and Sexual Violence offers a 24/7 support hotline with free and confidential services. Call 1-866-644-3574 if you need help.
Social Security is not a Ponzi Scheme.
From the Social Security offices in Nashua to Littleton, I am fighting back with absolutely everything I’ve got against President Trump and Elon Musk’s attacks on the benefits you have paid into your entire life.
Our team is here to support you: 603-226-1002.
