You may have voted for him. You may have supported what he said Operation Metro Surge was going to be.
But it’s okay to say you changed your mind. It’s okay to say he’s gone too far.

ICE and DHS are out of control and making our communities less safe.
I will not support funding for DHS without clear accountability and stronger controls over the agency.
It is time for the Senate to do its job and rein in this lawlessness.

ICE is out of control. Killing people, separating families, and terrorizing our communities.
I’m a NO on the DHS funding bill.

Kare 11 local news just read, in full, this statement from Michael and Susan Pretti, the parents of Alex Pretti.
"Please get the truth out about our son."
He wasn't a domestic terrorist. A domestic terrorist was the Oklahoma City bomber. This was a VA nurse looking out for his neighbors.
I certainly won't be.

Minnesota’s Congressional Democrats are united. We’re speaking with one voice to condemn the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti and to demand that ICE, DHS, and CBP agents leave our state immediately.
Another catastrophic shooting in Minneapolis by federal agents.
We are gathering more information, but ICE must leave now so MPD can secure the scene and do their jobs.
Journalists and bystanders are capturing what JD Vance really doesn’t want us to see.
Is this the country we want to live in?
What made the child a threat JD? Was it the floppy ears or the Spider Man backpack?
What made the child a threat JD? Was it the floppy ears or the Spider Man backpack?
My power is my vote as a Senator, and I’m not voting to send an extra dollar in funding to ICE/DHS while they trample on Minnesotans like this.
Where is our humanity? Where have our shared values of gone? How can we justify using a little boy in a bunny hat and Spider Man backpack as bait?
You may have voted for the President under the guise that he was only going after thugs and criminals. He lied to you.
This family did every single thing they’ve been asked to in order to seek asylum here.
Yet in less than 24 hours, this kid and his Dad were nabbed off our streets and sent to Texas, using tactics that can only be described as pure evil.

American citizens do not need to “prove” their identity to ICE agents to avoid arrest and detention.
Unconstitutional.
