GOP districts stand to lose the most funding from the massive cuts to clean energy incentives that Republicans put into their own budget bill.
They’re trying to hide all this but we won’t let them. Let’s raise the alarms.
❌ Luxury planes for Trump, tax breaks for billionaires, massive cuts to Medicaid, Social Security, food assistance for you.
❌ All-out corruption.
❌ Violates Constitution’s Emoluments Clause.
❌ National security risk. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/12/u...
So…after creating enormous havoc & chaos on people’s retirement funds & consumer prices, US tariffs on China and Chinese tariffs on US are back down to about the same levels they were before “Liberation Day.”
What a disaster. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/12/b...
The Department of Greed and Ego claims they are eliminating waste, fraud, and abuse through their sweeping grant cancellations.
What are they REALLY doing? Ending important research on air quality to save… $866. www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news...
Republicans want to eliminate the FTC — the agency that blocked the Kroger and Albertsons merger, preserving competition and lower prices.
That’s because Republicans don’t care about bringing down costs. They’re actively working with the giant corporations to make themselves richer.
Thanks to Democrats, vendors like Ticketmaster can’t surprise you with junk fees when it’s time to check out.
Republicans stood with corporations to try and block this policy, while Democrats fought to get it done.

So much for “getting things done on day one.”
No toys for kids… but a $400 MILLION luxury jet for Trump.
Trump and Republicans’ Medicaid cuts will close hospitals and cost thousands of lives. www.rollingstone.com/politics/pol...
Trump wants a $1 trillion slush fund for the Pentagon — the only federal agency that has NEVER passed an audit.
And that’s as he’s trying to cut essential things people rely on like Medicaid, education, and affordable housing.
It is BATSHIT CRAZY that I had to introduce an amendment to prohibit ICE from detaining and deporting U.S. citizens.
It’s even more insane that Republicans VOTED AGAINST MY AMENDMENT. They’re betraying their own constituents.
On the campaign trail, Trump promised to deport “the worst of the worst.”
Now, he’s kidnapping and disappearing green card holders, legal permanent residents, and even U.S. citizen kids with cancer.
This is not what the American people want.
Let’s be clear: Trump’s tariffs are bad for small businesses.
This is not how we lower costs or grow our businesses. This chaos will only continue to hurt both consumers and our economy.

My mother taught me so much: a love of reading, travel, and languages, to never let fear stop me from doing something, that true friendships require time and energy, and what it looks like to never stop learning.
Thank you, Mama, for everything. I love you!
Trump and Republicans would rather give a $7 trillion tax break to billionaires than invest in our kids.
Even though study after study shows that investing in early childhood education benefits our country far more than letting the rich pay less in taxes.
In celebration of #AANHPIHeritageMonth, I’d like to take a moment to recognize an outstanding AANHPI leader in our district — Joe Nguyễn, the Director of WA State Commerce, who advocates for investing in and enhancing economic opportunities for all Washingtonians!
Every day, my office gets dozens of calls from people who rely on this funding and are deeply concerned. This is money essential for programs, including education, feeding the hungry, and public safety.

Head Start, SNAP, affordable housing, and Medicaid are all programs that help keep working families afloat.
They’re also all programs that Trump and Republicans are trying to cut.
Not on our watch. Great to join @momsrising.org to defend families and kids across America.
Today, our legal system worked: Rumeysa Öztürk was finally released from ICE detention after being unlawfully detained for more than six weeks.
Every American should understand that if Trump can kidnap and disappear Rumeysa off the street, he can do the same to any of us.
CBP is revoking protections for the most vulnerable people in its custody — pregnant women, babies, the elderly.
Every day, I think that we have reached the apex of cruelty this administration can inflict on immigrants, and yet it still continues to grow. Read my full statement.
