The Trump administration is further gutting the Department of Education and undermining special education and civil rights. Every student deserves a quality education, not chaos and uncertainty. This is a reckless decision that could hurt some of the most underserved students.
Trump and Musk’s DOGE “saved” $15 million by cutting a program dedicated to preventing the spread of screwworm. Now, there’s an outbreak infecting our beef and the administration is spending $1 BILLION. Peak incompetence.
Photo of Trump and Musk with a picture of cows overlayed and text that reads: "News: Trump and Musk cut $15 million parasite prevention program. Now they're spending $1 billion on an outbreak affecting U.S. beef."
You have to see this. Apparently more than half of Trump’s golden ballroom is being funded by TAXPAYER dollars. He lied. Republicans are cutting healthcare, while funneling millions to Trump’s ballroom. Unacceptable.
The Trump administration has now signed off on the Paramount-Warner Bros merger. This is corruption — from corporate lobbying, to the silencing of the media. It’s also clearly bad for our economy and consumers. States must continue to pursue every option to challenge this.
ICE has no authority to detain U.S. citizens. But yet, Trump has let them operate lawlessly, and they have detained citizens for days and weeks at a time. I introduced an amendment to finally put an end to this.
I am outraged by reports that the Trump Administration has attempted to raid the offices of legal service providers serving unaccompanied immigrant children. We cannot allow this behavior to go unchecked. My full statement:
Ten years ago, 49 people were killed at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando. Today, as we honor the victims, survivors, and their loved ones, we also recommit ourselves to working to end gun violence, hate, and bigotry in all its forms.
After all this talk about a supposed deal, Trump is threatening to hit Iran “very hard" and take control of their oil. This is exactly why the House passed a bipartisan resolution to stop this illegal war. ENOUGH.
