And when Elon cuts agencies, he isn’t always just doing it at random. He’s targeting the ones that are actively investigating him.
That SCREAMS conflict of interest. www.latimes.com/business/sto...
Elon Musk LOVES to complain about people leeching off of the government.
Well, I found an example: Elon Musk! His companies have been propped up by $38 billion in government funding. www.washingtonpost.com/technology/i...
Let’s talk about greed.
There are DOGE staffers — by definition, unelected bureaucrats — making over $100,000 to slash the government programs you rely on. Talk about bloat and waste! www.wired.com/story/doge-g...
There’s nothing “efficient” about Elon Musk’s DOGE.
It’s a waste of your $$ and its main accomplishments include cutting funding for cancer research, closing Social Security offices, and illegally accessing your data.
More like the “Department of Greed and Evil” if you ask me. 🧵
It’s clear that Trump wants to eliminate immigrants from this country, even those who are using legal pathways. It’s disgusting and we won’t stand for it.
ACRS is the largest provider of naturalization assistance in Washington. This cruel and completely baseless directive will hurt our state and the lives of those eligible for naturalization.
The CINAS grant is a USCIS financial assistance award that they have been awarded almost every single year for the past 13 years. And despite being one of the top performers in this country in this sector, they were told to end all work, effective immediately.
I'm horrified.
Yesterday, I found out that the WA Asian Counseling and Referral Service office (ACRS) was notified of the cancellation of their Citizenship Instruction and Naturalization Application Services (CINAS) grant.
ACRS is vital and this funding must be restored.🧵
This is union busting. It's a dangerous attempt to silence federal workers as Trump dismantles the agencies they work for — hurting their ability to get you the benefits & services you need.
Let me be clear: this is an attack on ALL of labor, and I'll keep standing with workers.✊🏽
Two weeks ago, I demanded answers from the Trump administration over the detention and attempted deportation of Mahmoud Khalil.
They failed to respond and gave no reasonable grounds for Khalil’s detention. That's unacceptable.
My full statement⬇️
As Trump ramps up his attacks on judges, Mike Johnson is now talking about eliminating federal courts.
These are authoritarian tactics from Republicans, full stop. www.nbcnews.com/politics/con...
Happy #OpeningDay, go @mariners.com!!
Elon Musk wants to take away your Social Security and Medicare benefits, and he’s not being shy about it.
There aren’t words to describe how horrifying this is.
Trump is arresting and disappearing students with legal status just because of their political views and speech.
These are the actions of a dictator. Justice for Rumeysa NOW.
🚨NEW: Private insurers are trying to destroy Medicare through Medicare DisAdvantage. Democrats in Congress are fighting back.
With @delauro.house.gov, @schakowsky.house.gov, & @doggett.house.gov, I’m leading 74 members in calling on the admin to enact urgent reforms to Medicare DisAdvantage plans.
“The loss of U.S. support may mean 75 million children do not receive routine vaccinations in the next five years, with more than 1.2 million children dying as a result.”
We must restore these funds NOW.

Mahmoud Khalil is only the first case in Trump’s war against free speech — and it certainly won’t be the last.
He’s using an authoritarian playbook to silence any and all dissenting voices. We must fight back.
Let’s talk about what it ACTUALLY costs to run a cancer research lab.
Trump & Musk are cutting indirect costs — that’s the heat, the electricity and more — and without those things, research doesn’t happen. Listen to Dr. Nelson, VP of Precision Oncology at @fredhutch.bsky.social, lay it out.
