Little Marco is too scared to tell the truth.
I just introduced the most ambitious and practical AI governance bill in American history.
If people detained by ICE are dying by suicide at an unprecedented rate, it’s clearly cruel and unusual punishment. Congress needs to claw back the $75 billion given to ICE, stop its abuse, and dismantle and overhaul the entire agency.
Explain it to me like I’m five….how does putting Donald Trump’s face on a $250 bill do ANYTHING to lower the cost of gas or groceries???
If you’re not registered to vote yet, it’s not too late! CA allows same-day registration in-person at your county elections office, a polling place, or voting center: www.sos.ca.gov/elections/vo...

TODAY is the California Primary Election!
If you haven’t voted yet, return your ballot to a drop-off location or county elections office by 8PM today, or mail it – but make sure it’s postmarked by today, June 2nd.

NOT the Onion. The Trump Administration is really spending $5 million of YOUR taxpayer dollars to coat horse statues in gold instead of doing anything to lower the cost of gas, groceries, child care, or housing.
The United States has murdered at least 200 people off the coast of South America. When Democrats are in charge, we will finally be able to do oversight, get justice, and stop this endless stream of murders.
This illegal, reckless war in Iran has lasted over 90 days, and Trump has created a situation with no good outcomes left. The best outcome now is to negotiate in good faith and end this war as fast as possible – more strikes don’t lead us to that outcome.
Delaney Hall needs to be shut down. ICE's violent retaliatory tactics against people inside and outside the facility are escalating. Instead of fixing the worms in food, showers so hot they leave burns, and the lack of medical care, they're responding with pepper spray and fury.
After last week's horrifying tragedy, I hope that San Diego's Muslim community can find peace and strength with loved ones while celebrating Eid al-Adha. May this holiday remind us all of the importance of compassion, generosity, and service. Eid Mubarak!
It was so much fun to meet these pre-school and T-K students at the Little Lemons Early Childhood Education Center in Lemon Grove School District. I’m proud to have brought home over $2 million in federal funding to support this Center and the families it serves.
Our common goal should be ending the war in Iran permanently, so I want these talks to be successful, but President Trump can't launch strikes while claiming to be negotiating in good faith. He needs to credibly engage to end this war NOW.
I just left the Islamic Center of San Diego where I met with some of our Muslim community leaders to chart our path forward to honor the men we lost in the shooting and fully support and protect our Muslim community and their sacred spaces. We’re in this together.
Foreign assistance helps keep Americans safe and healthy. Case in point: Donald Trump dismantled USAID and pulled the U.S. out of the WHO – and both organizations could have helped mount a larger and faster response to contain this Ebola outbreak.
It was so meaningful to join our veterans and community leaders at the Miramar National Cemetery yesterday to recognize Memorial Day and honor everyone who’s made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
Today, we remember the service members from San Diego and across the country who gave their lives to keep us safe – and we must honor their memory by working to build a country worthy of their ultimate sacrifice.
Donald Trump’s Justice Department just announced that the IRS is “FOREVER BARRED and PRECLUDED” from investigating Trump and his family over their taxes. Can you say – corruption?
ICE got involved and now a toddler is dead. This isn’t an isolated incident; many American children who have a parent detained by ICE have ended up in foster care or without proper supervision. We shouldn’t give a cent more to ICE to continue this cruelty.
Donald Trump pretends to care about “waste, fraud, and abuse” yet he just created a $1.8 billion defense fund (using YOUR tax dollars) for the insurrectionists who literally tried to overthrow our government. Disgusting.
