Want to know President Trump's priorities?
Trump's war with Iran is draining billions of taxpayer dollars.
Money is available for an illicit war, but when Americans require food assistance and affordable healthcare, the funding magically disappears.
Never underestimate your own power! ✊🏾
Your vote is your voice.
This Election Day, make your voice heard and bring your friends, family, and neighbors to the polls.

Thank you to the young artists, teachers, judges, and mentors who make this celebration of creativity possible, and to Prairie State College for hosting such a wonderful evening.
This week, I hosted a reception for the talented students who submitted artwork to this year’s 2nd Congressional District High School Art Competition. 🎨
ICE and CBP were supposed to target the “worst of the worst.”
Instead, they’re illegally detaining and deporting our immigrant neighbors and even US citizens. People’s free speech and due process rights are being violated.
None of us are safe under Trump’s DHS.
Today is the day; meet me at the Youth Opportunities Fair. Youth of all ages are welcome to explore 60+ different opportunities to kickstart your future.

While Trump spends trillions on war abroad, families here can’t afford basic healthcare. He owes the American people answers for endangering our troops and dragging us toward another costly conflict. We can’t fund forever wars while neglecting home.
Breonna Taylor should be alive today. Six years later, her tragic death is still a reminder that racism takes lives.
No-knock warrants should be banned.
We must pass the Justice for Breonna Taylor Act to help prevent tragedies like this from ever happening again.

Learn more about my fight for nutritious food and lower healthcare cost:

Food insecurity pushes too many Americans toward cheaper, less nutritious food. The health consequences are real. We spend $1.1T each year treating diet-related diseases.
While Trump pushes reckless policies that make it worse, I’m fighting for a bill to prioritize nutritious food and lower costs.
My thoughts are with the residents of Kankakee County and all communities impacted by this week’s tornadoes, high winds, & hail.
I’ve been in touch with local officials and will do everything I can to support recovery & rebuilding. We will get through this together.
Join me at the Youth Opportunities Fair this Saturday!

Families across Illinois are grappling with the affordability crisis, which affects everything from rent to groceries to childcare. Prices are rising, and paychecks aren’t.
It’s time to address the costs for real American families and end this crisis.
I’m aware of the tornado that moved through Kankakee County tonight.
Please stay safe and follow guidance from local officials.
I’ll continue monitoring the situation and thinking of everyone affected.
Last summer, the Trump DOJ cut $800M+ in public safety grants nationwide, including gun violence prevention programs.
As temperatures rise, violence often rises too.
President Trump is making our communities more dangerous.
I will keep fighting to restore this proven & effective funding.
Come explore my Youth Opportunities Fair with me this Saturday. There’ll be 60+ vendors with jobs, internships, training, and resources. Youth of all ages are welcome!

Black women are still not heard in our hospitals. Mercedes Wells was sent home while in active labor. That is unacceptable.
Black women’s pain in childbirth cannot be ignored or dismissed. That’s why I introduced the WELLS Act to hold hospitals accountable and protect Black mothers.
The countdown is on. Just 5 days until my Youth Opportunities Fair.
Over 60 vendors will offer summer camps, internships, mentorship programs, jobs, and more for youth of all ages.
