What in the world does this mean @schumer.senate.gov? "I believe Congress and Senate Democrats, if necessary, will not hesitate to exercise our authority." This is why your numbers are toxic with our base. They want us to be the anti-war party again
Democratic platform should be:
Peace abroad, good jobs at home.
Our failure to grab the anti war mantle and feckless comments by some leaders is exactly what's wrong with the party. Maybe if you're an elected who cheerled for the Iraq war, it's time for you to retire!
Ted Cruz admits that the US is helping Israel attack Iran. This is why we need to pass Rep. Thomas Massie's and my War Powers Resolution now.
No war in Iran.
It's time for every member to go on record.
Are you with the neocons who led us into Iraq or do you stand with the American people?
I am proud to co-lead a bipartisan War Powers Resolution with Rep. Massie that is privileged and must receive a vote.
It was great meeting with leaders and presidents from the teamsters, and an honor to be the keynote speaker at the Joint Council 7 Conference. CA needs to pass legislation to require truck drivers on autonomous vehicles for safety. We need moonshot investment in our industrial base with union jobs.
I’m horrified by the murder of Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband, Mark. This is a tragedy for Minnesota and our nation. Praying for Senator John Hoffman and his wife’s recovery. Political violence has no place in America.
Thank you, @laurenfeiner.bsky.social, for the thoughtful conversation.
A 10 year ban on state AI laws will have devastating consequences for workers, consumers, and kids. The consequence of AI on jobs is not getting enough attention in our politics. I make the case against the ban in this interview with the Verge.

Good points. Here’s why I voted to subpoena Musk this week:

So Trump should have no problem helping pass my and Summer Lee's bill to ban all Super PACs. www.nbcnews.com/politics/don...

I think Musk is married to the Mob @rokhanna.bsky.social and will either have to take the cannoli or sleep with the fishes. That said, he could do a lot damage since Trump cannot distance himself far enough from a blast zone if Musk decides to tweak the X algo and go to the mattresses.
Both JD Vance "it’s not going to be good" for Elon Musk if he doesn't crawl back & Donald Trump himself warning of "very serious consequences" are threatening Musk.
@karaswisher.bsky.social, how do you think it works out?

I explain my thoughts in detail on why I voted to subpoena Elon Musk and how we can use this opportunity to block the Republican budget bill and stop chaotic economic policy -- rokhannausa.substack.com/p/why-i-vote...

I voted to subpoena Elon yesterday and believe he must be held accountable for the cruel and unconstitutional cuts to USAID and veterans' programs. But having him sidelined for '26 and speaking out against the Big Ugly bill will help in stopping Trump's cruel agenda.
And I took on my own party.
I ran against incumbents three times!
I endorsed @sanders.senate.gov & co chaired his campaign.
And I have called for competitive primaries even when we have an incumbent @davidhogg.bsky.social
I took on the Senate Parliamentarian.
Called her to be fired because she didn't allow raising the minimum wage.
I took on billionaires.
Called for raising taxes on billionaires even though no one represents an area with more billionaires in the world!
I took on the Defense Industrial complex.
Voted against every bloated defense budget in 9 years in Congress.
I took on Big Tech.
Introduced Internet Bill of Rights in 2017 & co sponsored Kids Online Act.
I took on Insurance.
Staunch supporter M4A & eliminating medical debt.
