When I was running for Congress we used to get 15 people in a room and I'd be excited. We got 1,300 people in Tom Kean's district for a town hall and he couldn't be bothered to show up.
Trump is saying Americans shouldn’t pay more for drugs than those in other countries. But instead of an EO that will get challenged again by Big Pharma, why not work with @sanders.senate.gov & me to make this law!
Republicans 2024: Democrats are against free speech and for censorship. Republicans 2025: Arresting elected officials in handcuffs for exercising free speech.
JD Vance, your budget bill sells out Ohio. Worst in history. Biggest Medicaid cut ever. Guts food aid. Guts NIH for Cleveland Clinic & rural hospitals. Guts NSF for biotech in Columbus & Cincinnati & 3D manufacturing in Youngstown — for tax breaks for your billionaire friends.
It is absurd that Palo Alto School district just voted to remove honors biology for all students & already removed honors English. They call it de-laning. I call it an assault on excellence. I took many honors classes at Council Rock High in PA.
The Trump and JD Vance Administration has just arrested a mayor in Newark and shoved Members of Congress for protesting outside of an ICE facility. In America, you cannot arrest your political opponents.
Menendez Jr: They feel no weight of the law and no restraint on what they should be doing. And that was shown in broad daylight today when they not just arrested the Mayor of Newark but when they put their hands on two members of congress standing behind me. How is this acceptable?
Rep. Ryan Mackenzie thinks our events are "fake town halls.” What do you all think? Say what you want, Rep. Mackenzie, but we're hosting one on May 17th in your district. You're welcome to come.

EXCLUSIVE: In a mic-drop moment, Ro Khanna took the stage at Yale—where he and JD Vance both graduated—and told the crowd that Vance’s politics are so disgraceful, they cheapen the degree. It was the loudest applause of the night. JD Vance is a disgrace and a joke.
I believe in an America where it’s not about who cuts deals or curries favor—but about who works hard. I want to fight for them. To make sure they get a fair shot.
So yes, I understand those who feel dismissed, underestimated, overlooked. I know what it’s like to fight to be heard. To outwork everyone just to get a chance.
That faith was in my blood. My grandfather spent four years in jail during Gandhi’s independence movement—choosing principle over personal comfort. He believed in human rights even when it meant prison.
When I moved to Silicon Valley—the wealthiest place on Earth—I had $100,000 in student debt. No connections. No famous name. No political backing. In fact, the establishment fiercely opposed me.
