As Ranking Member of the South & Central Asia Subcommittee, I sent a letter w/ Rep. Huizenga urging Trump to convene a Leaders' Summmit with the Central Asian countries on the 10th anniversary of the C5+1 forum & secure commitments that strengthen the US-Central Asia relationship.
Trump is trying to steal the paychecks of thousands of furloughed federal workers by violating a law he himself signed in 2019.
Ironic. Cruel. Illegal.
We're going to fight like hell to ensure every federal worker receives their back pay.
Trump's ICE raids have upended our community. I'm grateful to our county's leadership for working to help ease the economic burden these raids have imposed on Angelenos.
