An unvaccinated child died from measles during an outbreak in West Texas. This was completely preventable. The laws of biology and chemistry don’t care about your ideology, your party or what your cousin’s friend said on social media. Ignore science and bad things happen.
Breaking News: An unvaccinated child died of measles in Texas, officials said, the first known death from an outbreak that began in January.
Trumponomics sucks: -Inflation is up -Consumer sentiment is down -Medicaid will get destroyed This is not what the American people voted for.
Why are Trump’s numbers free falling? Because Trumponomics sucks. His tariffs are increasing prices. Firing people working on bird flu will make eggs more expensive. GOP budget cuts $880 BILLION of Medicaid & hurts the middle class—all so billionaires get richer. Democrats are standing up.

Trump believes the chaos he is causing is popular. He is wrong. In less than a month, Trump’s approval / disapproval ratings have reversed and a majority of Americans now disapprove of his job performance. Trump’s actions are hurting Americans and increasing prices.
With Rep Maxine Waters today speaking out about the Trump chaos that is harming our economy and our democracy. Also, the proposed GOP budget makes draconian cuts to health care in order to give trillions in tax breaks to billionaires. I will be a hell no vote on this GOP budget.
7 years ago today was the mass shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Parkland, Florida. My wife and I joined Rep Jared Moskowitz at today’s event to honor first responders and remember the 17 beautiful lives taken far too soon.
The Trump Administration and Republicans in Congress have caused a lot of chaos, but done nothing to lower costs. Egg prices continue to soar. I recently went grocery shopping and not only were egg prices between $7.99 and $12.79, but there were no eggs. The shelves were empty.

When you solve for the wrong problem, not only do you not get the solution, you can cause harm. The President wasted water that was being saved for farmers for a PR stunt. This was harmful, ludicrous, and solved nothing.
Thank you Rep Brad Sherman for hosting a briefing with first responders and tour of the fire damage with House Democratic Leadership earlier this week. We are unified in fighting for federal assistance to disaster victims without conditions.
Congratulations to Democrat Mike Zimmer for flipping an Iowa State Senate District from red to blue!
DEMS FLIP TRUMP +21 SEAT In the first special election since Donald Trump took office, Democrat Mike Zimmer has defeated Republican Katie Elizabeth Whittington to flip Iowa State Senate District 35—a district Donald Trump won by 21 points in the November 2024 election.
Trump’s unconstitutional order freezes funding that: -Provides medical care to veterans -Helps farmers fight the bird flu -Supplies bullet proof vests to police officers Trump’s actions will increase crime, increase healthcare costs and increase the price of eggs.
Absolutely necessary. States To Immediately Sue Trump Over Federal Funding Freeze open.substack.com/pub/politicu...
With Congressman Mark Takano and State Senator Tom Umberg at the ceremonial swearing in of Dave Min! Dave was a fantastic State Senator and is a fantastic Member of Congress.
Grocery prices will rise due to Republican policies. “75% of immigrant farm workers didn’t show up yesterday in Bakersfield because of fears of ICE raids under the new presidency.”
I went through the list of executive orders issued by the current President. None of them lower the price of eggs. Not a single one. In fact, some of the executive orders will raise your costs, such as on prescription drugs.
Trump signed a sweeping order aimed in part at reversing several Biden administration executive orders on health care, including efforts to lower the cost of prescription drugs for people on Medicare and Medicaid, enhancing the Affordable Care Act, and increasing protections for Medicaid enrollees.
Pardoning criminals who hurt police officers on January 6 is massively disrespectful to law enforcement. And how does this lower the price of eggs? The American people did not elect the current President because the people want lawlessness. The people want lower prices.
On January 6th, Matthew Krol beat and attacked police officers. Donald Trump just gave him a full pardon.
Thank you to Rep Brad Sherman and first responders for leading a briefing and tour yesterday of the Palisades Fire devastation. Joined with Sen Schiff and Representatives Judy Chu, Norma Torres, Julia Brownley, Sydney Kamlager-Dove, and George Whitesides.
Thank you to Rep Judy Chu for leading a briefing and tour with local officials of the Eaton Fire devastation. Joined with Sen Schiff and Representatives Brad Sherman, Nanette Barragan, Dave Min, George Whitesides and Derek Tran.
TRUTH: The massive fire that destroyed Altadena was not a “forest fire.” The fire had nothing to do with forest management or water policy. Three main reasons the fire exploded: 1. Drought-like conditions 2. Very low relative humidity 3. Santa Ana winds reaching 100 mph (Video by Stuart Palley)
