It was great to tour Varex Imaging Corp., an international X-Ray business with a manufacturing facility right here in Las Vegas.

I’ll continue to fight in Congress to ensure these lands get the support they deserve.
Today is the 25th anniversary of the National Conservation Lands System!
Whether I’m in Red Rock Canyon or Avi Kwa Ame National Monument, I’m grateful for Nevada’s beautiful, historic landscapes and the dedicated advocates and public servants that care for them.
80% of the Republican tax cuts go to the wealthiest 20% of Americans. The rich will get richer, while working families get screwed. It’s completely unfair (3/3) ⬇️

They are offering a TEMPORARY “deduction” that expires in 2028. The tax break is also only for seniors over 65 and for individuals making $75k or less and couples making $150k or less. At the same time, Republicans are giving massive PERMANENT tax breaks to the richest Americans. (2/3)
The Republican budget bill does NOT eliminate taxes on Social Security. 🧵 (1/3)
I held a roundtable discussion with local leaders in law, business, and advocacy to explore ways we can strengthen partnerships that promote economic opportunity, justice, and community development.
❌ 25,000 Nevada jobs lost in the energy sector.
❌ Massive tax breaks for the wealthy (80% of the Republican tax cuts go to the wealthiest 20% of Americans).
❌ Largest cuts to health care coverage in U.S. history.
❌ $4 to $6 trillion added to the national debt.
The Republican budget bill that was just signed into law is a bad deal for Nevada and America. The rich will get richer while working families get screwed.
Thank you to the Las Vegas Korean American Association and the Korean Veterans Association Southwest USA for inviting me to speak.
Today, I was honored to commemorate 75 years since the outset of the Korean War. Millions of brave men and women, like my father, defended democracy and fought to stop the spread of communist aggression.
Before Congress, I led the non-profit Communities in Schools of Nevada and After-School All Stars and saw first-hand how life-changing after-school programs can be for kids. But now, the Administration is stealing these funds to turn around and give tax cuts to the wealthiest Americans.
This is horrifying for Nevada schools.
The Administration has frozen $61.2 million in funds for Nevada that pay for after-school and summer programs, and other services.

I had the chance to meet with representatives from organizations dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities. I’ll continue working in Congress to strengthen services and opportunities for this community across Nevada.
Blanket tariffs, especially on our allies, will skyrocket the cost of goods and working families will pay the price.
Government overreach, like blanket tariffs, is creating many challenges for our Pacific Islander business community here in southern Nevada.
I sat down with business owners to hear how I’m working to cut red tape and secure resources to keep our small business strong and thriving.
The bill would access about $50 million in unused, long-stranded funds for Hoover Dam operations, maintenance, and improvement projects. ⬇️

As the summer heats up here in southern Nevada, now is a great time for the House to pass my bipartisan Help Hoover Dam Act so that we can protect Western water and other natural resources for years to come.
This #IndependenceDay, we celebrate our freedom. Let’s not forget all the servicemembers, veterans, and first responders who have worked to keep our nation safe and free 🇺🇸
The bill will devastate Nevada by kicking 114,000 off their healthcare, closing hospitals and nursing homes, killing thousands of jobs, and adding TRILLIONS of dollars to our national debt. This is all to pay for billionaire tax breaks. It’s bad news for America and certainly bad news for Nevada.
