Thank you to Nevada Broadcasters Association for meeting with me and sharing just how important AM radio is in times of crisis and as a source for news and entertainment.
That’s why I support the AM for Every Vehicle Act to require auto manufacturers to keep AM radio in vehicles, without charging customers extra for it.
AM radio is essential to America’s National Public Warning System and emergency communication infrastructure. Yet many automakers are removing AM from their vehicles so they can save a few bucks.
Right now, Sierra Nevada Job Corps gives hundreds of students training to become skilled trade workers. This program is great for growing our workforce and strengthening our local economy. But the Administration is cutting this program so they can give tax-breaks to the wealthiest Americans.
The Administration continues its war on working families…

Corporate investors own 15% of the single-family homes in Las Vegas. Today, I called for more transparency from the Federal Housing Finance Agency on Big Corporate Landlords buying up Nevada homes, and foreclosed homes, in bulk.
