Yesterday, the House voted on a bipartisan bill called the Fix Our Forests Act (FOFA).
Especially with the recent wildfires that have devastated southern California, we need a timely bill like this one. But we can’t stop here — I want to explain why 🧵
Congratulations to @culinary226.bsky.social, Bartenders Union 165, and all the hardworking Nevadans who made their new contract with Virgin LV possible. Vegas is a city of labor, and we’ll continue fighting to keep Nevada Union Strong.
One paycheck should be enough.
By law, doctors are already required to provide medical care to a newborn baby. This bill puts babies' health at risk by forcing doctors to follow a politician’s medical advice rather than their own.
This bill will mean less OB-GYNs at a time when Nevada is already facing a severe shortage. Nevada ranks 46th in the country for the number of OB-GYNs per 100,000 people.
That’s because this Republican-led bill will make it a crime for doctors to provide appropriate care to newborns.
Today, I voted against extreme legislation that will worsen the OB-GYN and physician shortage in Nevada by making it a crime for doctors to provide appropriate care to newborns. My official statement 👇
This week, I was officially appointed to the House Appropriations Committee.
I'll continue to serve as southern Nevada's only voice in the room where our most important decisions on federal investments are made.
I’ll keep fighting to bring back investments to our community.
Today would have been the 52nd anniversary of Roe v. Wade.
Instead, it’s a reminder that women in this country do not have the full protection and control they deserve over their own bodies.
I won’t stop until we restore Roe and make it the law of the land once again.
So Trump wants to restore law and order? Really?
Here's 47 seconds of some of the cop beaters that Trump just set free.👇
Last week, 15 new prescription drugs were selected for Medicare price negotiations, thanks to the Inflation Reduction Act that I helped pass.
What does that mean for you?
Lower prescription drug costs and more money in your pocket.
Today, we honor the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., a visionary who challenged us to build a nation where justice, equality, and dignity are a reality for all.
His dream lives on in our collective efforts to create a more just society.

Greystar operates 44 apartment complexes in southern Nevada – they cannot be allowed to deceive people just to make an extra dollar.
I applaud the FTC for cracking down on massive corporations that take advantage of working families.
Not only is Nevada home to amazing natural landscapes, but it’s also one of the most biodiverse places in the country.
Today, I announced more than $23 million for Fish & Wildlife conservation to support that biodiversity, and I’ll keep investing in local conservation efforts.
Thanks to investments I helped secure, it’s even easier to get paid to replace your grass yard.
Save money. Save water. 👇

Great to chat with Sierra Vista HS students at CES about STEM education & career opportunities.
Part of why I came to Congress after leading education nonprofits is that I saw firsthand how Washington wasn’t doing enough for Nevada students. These kids are the future!
